Hi, not sure what I’m hoping for from this forum, but figured I’d poke around for ideas regardless. I’ve been deaf/ mute since the age of 4, though with the advent of better hearing aids I’ve mostly regained my hearing. I’ve been wanting to write a story in the Harry Potter universe for a long time, and I figure I should write about what I know. I’d like to include an animal companion, but besides that and not basing it in the stock standard Potterverse I’ve no idea where I want to begin....
