Hi lads I'm looking for a Bleach story I read a while back where Ichigo was a shinigami in the Shiba clan back when Kaien was alive. I think he is in the academy for most of the story and Kaien is constantly bugging his cousin to not be such a downer. Ichigo was fairly angsty IIRC.

Bleach Fics
So I've been searching FFN for decent bleach fics and I've come to the point where I'm giving up searching on my own. Does any one have any good bleach fics they can recommend? I don't mean good by bleach fic standards but by DLP standards. It's kind of depressing how the bleach fandom is worse than the naruto fandom in terms of fic quality.
