    Book Let's read, The Hobbit

    So I'm a new father, and I want to read my daughter, and I don't have a lot of time to do it. So, I'm proposing a book reading, one chapter a week, starting with Chapter 1 on February 25th, and ending 19 weeks later on June 30th. We'll do our comments just like for the Lord of the Rings. Anyone else want to go on an adventure?

    Week 29 Lord of the Rings-Final Thoughts

    Final thoughts Characters Everyone has a great characters. From the fellowship down to the two bit one off characters, no on feels like Guard A. I especially like the focus given to the hobbits, they really do have the most growth of anyone, and their return to the shire gets to highlight that, from Frodo's mercy to Merry and Pippin, Halfling Warriors. As a counterpoint, Legolas gets lots of love in the movies, but in the books everyone else outshines him. Perhaps it is his elven...
