    Writing a fic to go along with the HP game

    I've posted on here a few times in regards to a Harry Potter themed fangame I'm creating for fun. I'm not much of a writer/reader (unless it's writing code for software), but I ended up having to create a plot structure for the game story and was convinced by someone to expand that into a readable fanfic.     Hello, I wasn't sure what the rule was on intro posts, but other forums have asked me to add them when I joined so I'll do a quick one here. I'm not much of a reader/writer, but I do make fan art. Specifically 3D interactive type art. Sometimes models, games, sometimes explorable environments of places.     Quick question about narration

    I'm about to start writing a first person 'fic, obviously Harrycentric, but have a problem - because of the age he's at when the story begins, I have to narrate from an older Harry's point of view or make him far too eloquent for his age. Past tense would work, but I want to try writing it in the present tense as a writing exercise and in an attempt at giving the 'fic a faster, more action-oriented pace. I'll never reach Wastelands of Time standards, but was wondering whether anyone thinks...
