    The Pairing Function

    Do you guys believe in using the pairing function to tag your characters as a couple for stories on fanfiction.net? I personally don't as I find the practice to take away from the plot and intrigue of the story. If I want people to read my story I don't want it to be simply because Harry is with [insert desired female]. Moreover, by just telling everyone who Harry will end up with completely destroys any doubts that they might not be compatible! I have taken the approach of actually only...

    Tagging in For Review: Browsing the Library by pairings

    With Raven's great update, we now have tags. This is a potentially awesome concept, which removes a blank the search engine of the boards had: you never could search story threads for pairings, because it had problems handling strings (e.g. "Harry/Fleur"), so browsing the library by pairings was impossible. Well, it works now 8D I went through the library and tagged the pairings to the threads, as much as that was possible. To keep it useable, we now need three things: No retards...
