    New Show: The Peaky Blinders

    So, caught this the other night on TV, 6 part period drama/show about gang warfare in the slums of Birmingham just after WW1. Its only got a few episodes out but it looks to be shaping up to be pretty good. The comical sounding gang name comes from a ruthless 1920's Brummie gang, named by their habit of blinding people with razors sown into the peaks of their flatcaps. In this they're mostly run/made up of one family, the Shelbys who the show revolves around, and their ambitious leader...
