Meh. Not with the way the sessions work. And that only updates are required. It was a good on paper, bad in practice idea. We may get rid of all of the author things. Just keep it as simple as possible. We'll see.

 

Should the DLP awards be expanded to include Dresden fanfiction?

 

Name me a half-dozen multi-chapter Dresden Files stories that are neither Harry Potter crossovers nor utter shit.

Think he meant for the awards to be combined.

For example. Best Villian for either Harry Potter or Dresden Files to include the small library of Dresden Stories.

Personally, I think we should just stick to Harry Potter until the Library for Dresden Files grows, and then it should have it's own.

 

Strongly agree with this statement, if Dresden is to be honored, let it be in the crossover category.

 

Well I'm impressed. So far the awards seem to be well organized. My question is how will nomination work? One person nominates it and it is in, or a story must have multiple nominations.

My other problem with this system is that I think the author should be allowed to pick which category their story goes in. This way it won't be in the other categories stealing votes, thus making it a fairer competition.

 

Right...so where's that, exactly? And has joe6991's Harry Potter and the Wastelands of Time won anything yet?
