Double Post, and I thought Minority Report wasn't that bad.

 

Favourites:
1. Magnolia - good mind twister
2. Malcolm X - Gotta love Denzel
3. The Ring (Japanese version) - Nobody does horror better than Japan
4. Fight Club - just great!
5. Rasputin - some good shots of Russia
Also; Silence of the lambs, Unforgiven, Dogma, Carrie, Shawshank Redemption, Citizen X.

Hated:
1. Disney's Hercules - the f-in mythology was completely wrong
2. Creep - stupid cliched mock horror
3. Queen of the damned - they completely warped the book
4. Bridget Jones - she's got big pants, who cares
5. Titanic - great filming but to soppy for a disaster movie

Like:
1.Interview with the Vampire (currently reading the book but still like the movie)
2.Queen of the Damned (haven't read the book but still liked the movie, and it has a kick ass sound track)

4.Casshern (you have to see this movie!! It's the only Japanese movie I liked.)

6.(I get a 6 cause I'm FN Boss Tycoon) Indecent Proposal (because Robert Redford is even more Boss Tycoon than me)

My Likes: (no order)

American History X - Simply the most intense and powerful film I can remember.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest - Jack and a bunch of famous crazies all locked up together. Plus, Nurse Ratched, proof you don't need fangs to be evil.

Halloween - Classic. Still the standard for this genre.

The Usual Suspects - Brilliant. Kept me guessing the whole way.

The Last Temptation of Christ - Very under appreciated IMO. Martin Scorsese, Harvey Keitel as Judas, and a freaky Peter Gabriel soundtrack. What's not to love.

Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? - A dinner party that spirals out of control in a drunken spiral. Yes its black and white, but still. (Watch with beer and its even better.)

Pirahna 2 - I remember a winged pirahna flew down a periscope and bit someone's eye.

I gotta read the book now because I liked Queen of the Damned.

 

The Book was utterly amazing, the film was tripe, and completely unlike the book, apart from the fact that the characters had the same names. I mean, in the books, Marius is Blonde!

 

Yeah, not to mention that Marius didn't turn Lestat.
A vampire called Magnus did.

They ruined a brilliant book.

 

And they ignored pandora and santino and khayman. Khayman was a huge part of it!

This makes me feel so boring.

The only incredibly brilliant movie I can think of that hasn't been mentioned already a dozen times is Party Monster - which is right up there with Clockwork Orange and Pulp Fiction for me. Amazing. Don't let Macaulay Culkin put you off.

Likes: Cube (anyone seen cube 3, where the guy has his skin and mussle melt off? should be a real inspiration for Dark!Harry)
