Most of these guys are so popular because they are pretty. Not handsome. It seems that younger girls tend to like guys that look somewhat feminine (never understood that, I like a good manly-looking fellow myself and always have).

Most of these sites are based around one series or genre though. Most fanfic authors seem to use them as space fillers for their websites or as points of amusements. Similar to the "You are this character" polls that a lot of people use as their signatures.

 

I really should not be pointing fingers at other people's deviancy, but come on...

Other than pornstars I've never fapped to a fictional character (they're fake, so they count as fictional), let alone wanted to marry one. Okay people, there is reality and there is FICTION. Do you need help distinguishing one from the other?

 

Maybe we ought to classify those insipid and pathetic people other than their present classification. A change of species perhaps? Or maybe we classify them under a sub-specie?
