Give input on boy king lynch vs not, give input on how potential boy king targets should be decided, etcetc.

There is lots of things to talk about beyond directly lynching someone.

Also, X is suspicious because he is X is very nearly the worst tautology I have ever seen, because really. dhulli has played all of one game, and he got lynched on day 1.

 

What? I didn't lurk in DE2 at all. I had a middle-range post count; and most of my posts were lengthy and gave my thoughts on the game and the rest of the players.

Anyway, now I've caught up:

Deadline Vote: No Lynch

This seems the most sensible option to me - although I don't like that the day phase will end early, since it gives us less chance to see who stands out. But I'd agree that the additional powers the Boy King has in lynching gives us a better chance at hitting scum or roles that could give us ambiguity. The biggest negative is just that we're putting our trust in one player.

The people who have struck me as somewhat off so far are Vesvius and Silens. Vesvius has made some deliberate comments to try and show us that he's town, and he's commented on the mindset of the scum - that's the same thing I noticed Fen doing when he was mafia in Lesstinyhunt. As for Silens: well, only one post from him so far but it just screamed of caution to me; he didn't say much in it, mostly just a comment on the current game. There's too little to really go on, so I'm not sure why that stood out to me so much.

GUYS, a No Lynch vote is the same as a vote saying 'I want the boy king to lynch someone'

If you want the boy king to seriously consider not lynching anyone today, you'd have to put forward a good case as to why this would be.

 

Kai: I don't see why anyone wouldn't want the Boy King to lynch someone. Not lynching anyone gets us pretty much nowhere - actually, simply having the Boy King lynch is just as bad, provided that's all we do; we really need discussion in order to get a read on people.

If possible, could more people post their thoughts on who is standing out to them?

 

It looks like (from the context of thier posts) that lungs and silens are voting for nolynch + no judge lynch for today.

 

Fine, Palindrome... Vesvius doesn't look very scummy to me, since his words ring of truth - I had pretty much the same reaction in Tiny and Lesstiny (since I, too, had transitioned from scum to civilian)...

Azira's vehement reaction reminds me of Knee's... though from his other forum posts, he's quite hotheaded...

Fiat plays aggressively in all his games, so it's hard to get a read until later...

Sesc seems to play like he did in the other game... so my suspicion isn't that high towards him...

Custer is being derpy, and he's pulling me down with him. D8 I'm not sure if he's scum, but his play style is quite similar to his scumhunt...

Drome is playing like Vira in SW1, which, frankly, scares the shit out of me...

I echo Silens - everyone is playing cautiously and intelligently, even Dhulli - but... those are the people who really, really stand out to me at the moment...

Alright I'm seeing a lot of plans being tossed around and the only one I can see as solid is not lynching anyone today. The vast majority of the accusations I see being tossed around are a name picked out of a hat or "NO U" and no real evidence at all to back them up.

Game is pretty tame at the moment, so, not much else to do really.

I expected a lot more Game of Thrones related puns and jokes, though. Relatively tame on that.

 

I'd give you Game of Thrones puns, but unfortunately I've only read the first book about 3 years ago. Tbh, I don't remember much.

At this point in time, the only player to truly now give me weird vibes is Kang. I previously mentioned that his statement earlier seemed off, but with his half-hazard vote against dhulli he seems as if he's trying to start a bandwagon on someone else. For lack of a better, viable candidate, I'm going to vote for Kang.

Moridin: like I already said, I agree with what you said content-wise. My disagreement is not with what you said, but the fact that you said it. There is no logical principle behind it, but rather past experience. There is a pattern across mafia games, you fit the pattern. No more to it than that. Not everything has to be a massive TL;DR.

I'm pretty "meh" about this whole "no lynch" thing. But whatever, it's going to happen anyway.

(Given that the Boy-King's kill counts as a lynch, seems like voting for no lynch technically means no Boy King kill.)

 

Since the Boy King could probably use some input, I nominate either Kang or Vesvius for lynching. For Kang, I dislike the style of his posting: frequently hot-headed, appears to have a reading handicap, and is easily misled (lol, SW2). His dangerous thoughtlessness is not helpful in a game with as many scum as this.

As for Ves, his tone this game seems off to me. He's resistant to the Boy King lynch, but hasn't explicitly stated why or defended his actions. Other comments of his bother me, such as "I've played with Custer and he's always been scummy" or some such. (quoting perfectly is difficult from my phone, so my apologies for paraphrasing). His statement is technically true, but fails to point out I've only played one game, which he hosted, and assigned roles for. Kinda weird to me.

On a side note, I'm incredibly amused that I've made such a clear impression after a single, short (for me at least) game.

 

I'm confused, how does not lynching someone help us at this point. I feel that most of the people who are trying to push a Boy King lynch are just trying to avoid the suspicion that would come with a Townie being lynched and the rest of us scrutinizing them for pushing it. I feel that we should vote for one of the lurkers and try to draw them out and get more discussion going. We only have about 5 hours left I believe. Such as Vira or Silens,or Azira. Therefore I will:

Um... I haven't said a thing about the Boy King, pro or con. Maybe you're confusing me with someone else. All I've done today is state a few people who I beleive are suspicious.
