So at work I've been landed with the unenviable job of revamping our social media presence. To help with this I want to fix our slightly messy looking logo and have it available in different size formats. Here's the rub. I'm awful at this sort of thing. Anyone think they could take a stab at cleaning this up?



The font itself is fine, the picture just looks rough.

 

I dunno if I'd call that font "fine". It looks like it's saying "the Chasin Butt".

 

I now cannot unsee that. -_-

 

What kind of sizes are you looking for? @Seratin and do you have the source image for the Bull. I'm sure its your company logo, even though that looks like Windows Clipart

 

The logo was created by the owner's daughter 15+ years ago and that image is the only digital copy we have of it which... has been a pain.

Main things I'll be using it for are projected banners, Poster titles and the odd instagram post so I imagine something in the realms of 1200X900, 400X400 and 250X250 would be about right?

 

Looks like you host some pretty good music there, if a google search for your bar name is accurate.

 

Music is kind of our bread and butter. Had some big acts in the past but the general standard is quite high. I'm currently setting up a new competition aimed for January for unsigned artists.

We have a good reputation that way but the digital presence is a shambles. -_-

 

You should just create a new image... Or find a new bull. See if someone here talented will draw you a new one. Cause if you start changing proportions on that image, its not going to scale well at all. I tried just cutting it up in paint.

I don't think even in photoshop it would turn out well. But, maybe someone can prove me wrong. @Jon

For the logo do you have any idea about style? Do you want it friendly, a little bit menacing, more active than the current or what? Are you thinking something simple and cartoonish like the existing one or a bit more detailed? Something like:

Great job, @Immet, those look really good. I prefer the style of the second but for the brand keeping it closer to the original is best so probably your first example. Thanks for taking the time to have a look.
