Regarding the Outriggers - Both Harriet and Sanderson have said that RJ left little to no material for them - barely 2 lines (or pages, I can't recall). So if they attempt to write it now, without RJ's notes to guide them, it would be nothing more than fanfiction. So they dropped any plans they might have had for those books.

Btw Syed, seriously, you write so many speculative narratives, practically in every thread you post in, why not start writing your own fics? I'm not kidding.

 

I have attempted to write my story ideas, and I have found my posts make more sense and are easier to read than my actual writings.

 

Oh come on...you're on DLP for fuck's sake. Write something, post in WbA, read what other people think, improve your writing. If you can write all that drabble every other random post I see from you, you can write story and post it.

No one takes most of your theories seriously because of this. Just start writing and posting to WbA man. :/

 

Rand has lost his ability to channel, all he is able to do is manipulate the patten. THe thing is he could regain his channeling any time he wants, all he has to do is find a female channeler to heal him, just like Logain was. SO who know what he may still one one day do potentially.

 

Why would he want to, though? His ability to manipulate the pattern is enough for his basic needs, and I get the impression he's glad to be done with the ability to channel and all that comes with it.

 

Now he gets to just chill and live the rest of his wife alternating between his three smoking hot lovers.
