Hello everyone! Eidolonic has graciously donated a set up that I'll be running. Its a 12 man game, closed set up with flips on death! Days will run similar to Natutomafia with a 120 hour Day 1 with following Days being 72 hours. Flavor to be announced at game start, which will be asap.

Hydraing is fine as long as you can grab your own partner. Power levels aren't obscene so if you're new and been wanting to try out mafia don't worry about being out of your depth!

No one will be privy to any role information outside their own. In plainspeak mass claims will not win the game for town.

Never played mafia on DLP. Complete newb, so if you don't want one slowing down the game, tell me straight, but I'd like to try. Unless the setup is not rookie-friendly, count me in.

 

It can be literally anything in a closed game, but understanding game and design balance can help you... to a degree.

Mass claims won't necessarily win the game, and will actively hurt town on day one/day two, but after a few power roles have been flipped/claimed, having the entire (claimed) setup open can help you catch people in lies or go 'hm, this doesn't make sense from a balance perspective' - and then further investigate the players involved with a closer look back through the thread.

Spoiler: I probably won't have 3 cops in a 12-man game, so if 3 claim, there might be something fucky going on.

My mini mafia setups were basically designed to be newbie/rookie friendly - a small, fastish paced game - feel free to look back through previous mini mafia threads by me to get an idea.

How long are day/night cycles? If it's 24/48 I'm in, anything more I'm not sure on.
