Dumbledore got retconned from being the Civil War Era Wizard

 

What the hell? I thought it was confirmed that he was 157 or something.

 

On another note the article below Dumbledore is about Emma Watson photos.

Those Dumbledore comments are pretty good as well.

 

Interesting point: Dumbledore died in 1997.

 

This sucks, she's said in a previous interview that he was around 150 and there was absolutely no reason to change that.

Grrrrrrrr.

This is the first time a new bit of canon has properly annoyed me.

The fact remains wizards can become quite old. For fanfiction that's all that matters.

 

...Ya know what, if she can't even be bothered to get the year of her probably most important character death right, I'm just going to ignore this and go on thinking Dumbledore was 150 some odd years old when he kicked it.

 

Unless she never originally planned for Dumbledore and Grindelwald to be the same age. As Grindelwald died in 1945 and they were the same age, one could only assume that Dumbledore wasn't around one hundred when this happened, which meant that he had to have been much younger at the defeat of Grindelwald.

 

Atleast she's finally finished fucking up the HP series.
