As far as the name shit goes. It could be worse. Imagine if the author took the Reign of Power(I still love the fic) and had him kill himself and be reborn. That idea in this authors hands would be worse than seeing a naked fat lady in a mud wrestling contest.

Actually, Malfoy is captured by a vampire and ends up a slave. Which is still far better than most of his possible futures. I doubt we'll hear anything more about him, unless someone casually mentions that Malfoy was killed.
