Ok then... First off I haven't read what now amounts to 51 pages of comments (seriously?) only the last three or four. However based on other such threads I'd say these few pages summarize the rest quite nicely. Meaning a complete pile of shit is all you've got.

Personally I like the story. Yeah it's not your traditional potter universe fanfiction and in fact doesn't really have much of it left right now. However it did start from the harry potter universe. Now if you want to read something that's like an rpg where you go through the same story countless of times with some variations that's just *lovely.* Those variations, though, they seem minor are not, at least not all the time. Lets go with the standard one: harry growing balls and being independent.

This is basically tearing canon apart, yet you don't complain and even like these stories. Added on to that harry usually becomes political in those stories and you dont complain. This despite the fact that the political manouvering in canon is comparable to a baby trying to walk, its full of shit, its clumsy, retarded and need I go on?

But then comes along a story that goes beyond the standard fanfiction that actually tries to do something interesting and go beyond the narrow confines of magic set by the books, and it gets trashed. Oh NOES harrys name is changed, and OMG his wand, his precious holly wand... I mean where have I heard such whining before... Oh right we hear shit like that from fangirls obsessing over snape, malfoy, hary, etc and their feelings...

Yeah the story isn't perfect, but its a damn sight better than most of the stuff here.
