    The Lady of the Rock
"Perhaps," said Tyrion, "but my father-" "-ruled the Seven Kingdoms, but was ruled at home by his lady wife, or so my mother always said." The story of Tywin and Joanna - and Aerys. COMPLETE.

This is amazingly well written and is very plausible, despite it making me feel a little sick. I was a bit conflicted about recommending it, but it's worth it. As a side note, after reading this, I really enjoyed blinding, castrating and executing Aerys in the GoT mod for Crusader Kings 2.

Well, first things first. This one looks promising: http://archiveofourown.org/works/963132/chapters/1888087

    The Tenderness of Wolves
Summary:"Kill the girl," he murmurs, "and let the wolf be born."

The game has changed, not ended - and by the time they realise she's playing, it's too late to stop what she's set in motion. Or How Sansa and Arya Save the North Despite Being on Different Continents.

There's not that much yet written, but what is sounds promising.

Also, does anyone here know a good Arya story, where she's really badass without devolving into a weak little girl due to romance?

Are there any stories out there that swap the positions of Stannis and Robert? Where Stannis is the elder, fosters at the Eyrie with Ned & is betrothed to Lyanna?

why didn't you link the story instead of the reviews and fanfiction ratings?

Huh. Just read it. I wouldn't have thought that Stannis/Lyanna would work as a pairing, but it does in a very strange way.

If you click on the "122" it takes you to the reviews and from there you can get to the story

Yeah, I did and relinked it. Was just commenting on the oddity of linking those two and not the actual story itself.

I have the same 3000 words written I had a month and a half ago. I've been otherwise preoccupied.

Promises, promises. The only thing you can be sure of is that Winter is Coming.

But back to ASOIAF stories. Times Like These looks good so far. Stannis was never my favourite, but chapters with him were always worth reading in the books and a similar trend is here. Lyanna is interesting to read in this fic, but perhaps a bit too molded to fit Stannis.
