This is amazingly well written and is very plausible, despite it making me feel a little sick. I was a bit conflicted about recommending it, but it's worth it. As a side note, after reading this, I really enjoyed blinding, castrating and executing Aerys in the GoT mod for Crusader Kings 2.

Huh. Just read it. I wouldn't have thought that Stannis/Lyanna would work as a pairing, but it does in a very strange way.

Yeah, I did and relinked it. Was just commenting on the oddity of linking those two and not the actual story itself.

 

If you don't mind my asking for my peace of mind how is the next chapter of 'The Prince who Was Promised' coming along?

I have the same 3000 words written I had a month and a half ago. I've been otherwise preoccupied.

Winter may be coming but The Prince who Was Promised sure isn't T__T

 

Promises, promises. The only thing you can be sure of is that Winter is Coming.

But back to ASOIAF stories. Times Like These looks good so far. Stannis was never my favourite, but chapters with him were always worth reading in the books and a similar trend is here. Lyanna is interesting to read in this fic, but perhaps a bit too molded to fit Stannis.

 

It smells like dead fic in here.
