Personally I prefer Guns N Roses, Motley Crue, a little AC/DC, some Bob Dylan thrown in, Pink Floyd is a must, Nirvana, and just to round it out a little bit, Wierd Al (what I admire the dudes warped sense of humor) and Tupac Shakur (rapped about shit that MATTERED.)

Hem Hem back to fic, I think the story would be much better without the sister, because the sister/brother crap just kills the mood.

 

It always sucks. People feel this need to replace Harry and have someone go through the EXACT same ordeals that Harry didn't go through in this ALternate Universe. It is completely retarded crap. I despise it, and anyone with half a brain realizes what a cheap ploy it is.


Its even more disappointing for me coming from this author as he is one of my favorites out there.

 

I think what many people forgot (even JKR) is that when you live 10 years in cupboard under the stairs you would be mentally screwed.
And as a result things like making friends with Ronniekins in 5 minutes is rather unbelieveable, as an example.

And another thing a girl should act different than a boy.

 

I like the story thus far, sister and all. My only problem is the direction it will almost certainly take. Stories about dark criminals who are lightsided/have a good heart/help the good guys out in the end, is like creating a really cool character and then cutting his nuts off. It's just a wasted opprotunity. Why make Harry such a badass, only to gradually turn him into a loser like Lupin, his sister, Albus, etc? That's rhetorical, btw, I don't want an answer.
