    Title: Across the Universe
    Author: mira mirth
    Rating: T for Teen
    Genre: General
    DLP Section: The Alternates
Spoilers: There is a mention of Horcruxes or whatever theyre called, and some Sirius bitterness looks but it is all history.
Warnings: Angst, and drama. Mentions of suicide (does it count as 'attempted' if it worked and didn't?), abuse/neglect, and alternate endings.
Pairing: There is a Lily/James mention, but no other relationship pairings are important to the story.
    Status: Complete. One Shot.
Summary: A Harry Potter from a familiar universe gets placed into one where he died as a baby. It isn't any of the who-is-the-stranger-Jamie-Evans deals, but a family looking at a version of their dead son and learning to deal. Story is from James Potter's POv.
Synopsis:Vague spoilers for PS-HBP. One-shot. James Potter observes as Harry arrives to an alternate dimension where his parents are alive and Neville is the Boy-Who-Lived. Trying to teach old cliches new tricks, here.

...This is one one-shot that I come back to a lot. There are a few cliches I bet, but nothing too ornery or stupid. There are no real pairings save for the back ground of JPLP.

As much as I love the fics where Harry goes to another 'verse to help kill voldie and begins to see the differences between his world and others, this takes another view. Harry isn't so Jump-Into-The-War, and the Marauders and co. are not completely accepting in a way.

(I looked on the list for this but I may have been wrong?)

Didn't like it - its selling point is based on moderation. Harry doesn't instantly get accepted by the Marauders. Great, except that there's nothing else.

Written decently however, for which I will give a 2/5.
