One of the few good Starcraft stories. Grammar is decent and story while not really that original it is decently handled as well.

 

Read the first five chapters. Pretty meh, and the characters blend together rather easily. Not much to my liking, especially with the weak writing.

Oh christ. I remember when this was called "Next steps" or something like that.

It is a passable only because everything else in the SC section is utter shit. And even then I wouldn't say that this thing is all that good.

The writer runs fast and loose with SC canon or rather what little there is. Nova is Mengsk's rape baby(or something like that). Why? WHO KNOWS ITS JUST THERE.

I opened this thread excited about a good SC story. Then I read what Merc just said... god dammit.

 

Actually, Merc is wrong.

The story he mentions "Next Steps" was written by a different author, and is radically different.

This one is actually somewhat decent. The author does take some liberties with unit types shown over different games. But overall it's fairly well-written.

It has fairly good action which is what pulled me to it. Characterization is a little weak but tolerable.

you should give it a chance I don't belive it deserves to go to recycle bin.
