You'll find no sympathy from me. I actually fell to the trap and read the first chapter. Fuck, it's like a guide to everything you shouldn't do in a harry potter fanfiction, hell, in any work of fiction period. I felt my IQ dropping the further I skimmed through it.

Even worse, most of the reviews are positive. I was in doubt whether this was a crack fic or not, but after seeing the author's profile...yeah, not likely.

Oh jeeze, I was reading this literally yesterday. It's so strange to see it here only a few hours later.

It took me a while to figure out if it was just a badfic or if it was a parody of a badfic. I'm reasonably certain it's not a parody on the basis of how much effort has been put into it. Either way, it certainly isn't worth reading.

 

The first chapter reads like someone was going down the cliches and using it as a checklist.

The writing's technically sound and I'm curious how far it goes...

Sure HP & The Geth was your standard forgettable teenage powertrip, but this is just a new level of awful.

 

He arrests the Queen. Cool. Still shitty.

At least geth was somewhat readable.

I have survived 3 chapters, but I can't take anymore.

 

I for one have absolutely no idea what could have caused Jon to snap like this. On a completely unrelated nkte, you ready for Season 2?

 

Does anyone have any idea why they keep using the word "wiggle"? I have no doubt it's explained in the story but I skimmed it and my brain can only take so much each day.

(Not sure why I'm defending this. Not enough new FF in the world I guess. :| )

Just finished reading it (gasp) and everyone seems to be overhyping the badness. Is it based on significant numbers of cliches? Yep. Is it completely unrealistic and a power trip? Yup. Does it belong in the recycling bin? Yup. Is this in the bottom 50% of fanfiction.net stories? Probably not. Sturgeon's law.

On one side, it's wish fulfillment, plenty of random bashing, and the main character is an author mouthpiece and probably a sue. On the other side, the writing is fine, the plot moves along at a decent clip, and the power levels are probably about right for the crossover setting.

I think that's the first time I see an author treating the Queen like shit... and I liked it. Despite skipping a lot of it there are some interesting ideas hidden in this.

If he is ready to rewrite it, toss out a few of the idea (harem, britain king, everyone obeying him, everything going wrong for everyone not named Harry and whatever bad ideas I skipped while readind) it could be worth it.

 

I couldn't get through the first fucking chapter. Jesus Christ. I regret every moment of my life, every decision I've made throughout it that has taken me up to this point in time. I have never wished for something more, than to forget ever reading that.

So...if the author's stories keep getting worse over time, maybe he will one day post a story so extraordinarily awful that it is worth reading. Unfortunately, this isn't it.

I read this, or at least I would read bits of one chapter and then get bored so I would skip like 7 chapters.

According to the author, this is actually a Harry/Fleur story though I have yet to find a chapter where she is in it.

Harry gains custody of Dudley which is new. Or rather he gets Lupin and Sirus to do it for him. I haven't seen that before I don't think.

He kidnaps Neville's parents to heal them or something.

He then goes to space with Dudley.

Fascinating story I'm sure. Really needed me to give a more thorough I'm sure.
