This is fucking scary. There's no goddamn way I would have got Lara Raith based on the questions asked.

 

Nah, it's incredible, but I reckon it has to pick up on trending topics as well.

Lara could be picked up on female, two legs, not-human, fictional, american, dark-haired, linked with vampires.

She might not be the top choice, but I reckon quite a few people from here will have gone through with the Raiths recently.

Just ran through with Lara. Try picking up on the questions asked - think of characters similar to yours, and see how many are eliminated each time.

EG with Lara; Thomas is excluded once we know female, Inari when we know in love/vampire/in charge, Madeline when we know in charge, Mavra when we know guns are associated, etc.

 

Honestly, having played a few dozen more times since making that post, I'm even more freaked out. It got Malcharion the War Sage on its first guess. That's a character who only exists for about 100 pages in the book Soul Hunter. That's pretty damn impressive - but it's more impressive that at least one person suggested that to it.

 

I still think getting Meciel is the most impressive. A fictional fictional character...

But I've found it is rare that he doesn't eventually get it. Normally.

 

I'm betting more people have read the Denarian Trilogy than Soul Hunter/Blood Reaver.

 

I am incredibily amused that after I picked random answers for 2 minutes he actually gave me "Someone who answered randomly" as the result.

 

Got him again with Dr. Aki(of Medabots).

 

He only guessed wrong twice for Aono Tsukune pretty impressive.

 

Okay, he guessed everything I've thrown at him, including the damn Overfiend. I give up.

 

The beauty of being a Chinese.... I threw 30 Chinese folklore heros at the guy and he failed to get any of them! Best part? They are in his list of characters.

 

Did you hit the "Not quite/ Too General" button? Sometimes if he doesn't get it on first try, he will continue to guess when you click that button. Most of the time he will get it by then :/

 

Beat him - not once, but twice in a row with the same character.

Reset Man(of MS Paint Masterpieces). Though Reset Man was the second character in line after 40 questions. About to see if I can stump him thrice.

Nope- got me after 30 questions the third time. Still, the fact I made it past twenty on the third go through with the same character in mind is pretty freaking satisfying, given the rate he's gotten me over the years.

 

I got him with Mab, from Dresden Files. He almost got it, he guessed Mab from a movie called Merlin and just got further away after that.

 

I tested Akinator's comic book knowledge.

Tried Wonder Woman first, was pretty easy for him to guess it, although from the questions asked, other superheroes could have fit the bill.
Tried Nightwing next, he got him too.
He did fail to find Arkillo, probably because he is just a secondary character from the Green lantern series. He really should have a question about aliens though.
Then I tried going for Guy Gardner, and on the second try he got me Hal Jordan. Close enough I suppose. Finally nailed Gardner on the third try.

Didn't find Mogo the planet, although it was registered already. Oh well.



Nailed Gwen Stacy.
Also nailed Eddie Brock (Venom).
Couldn't find the Guardians of the Universe. Probably because it was recycling (hence wasting) questions I had already answered.
I went for Harry Osborn and it got me Norman Osborn. Close enough.

Then I got bored and stopped.
Edits: Also nailed Lockhart, Neville and Ron. Heh.

 

I stumped it a bit with Titania from DF, but it got Mab (from Merlin, but they're pretty much the same), so it was close.

It even got Pen-Pen from NGE. >_>

Also stumped it with Auri from The Name of the Wind.

 

He didn't get Princess Lois from Blart. Or have her on the lists. Too obscure?

 

Very impressive. Got pretty much everything I threw at it until I stumped it with Maer Alveron. Granted, a tertiary character from The Wise Man's Fear is a lot to ask for it to know.

 

Yes I did. Still failed to get any of them.

 

I thought of Calypso Rosie but it was not in the database. It's first guess was Lavender Brown while its second guess was Ebony Darkness.

I did add her into the database now.
