Oh no, Hung understood that people were making fun of him... He understood all the way to the bank.

It just pisses me off that he would take a song by Freddy Mercury that has a HUGE uplifting message (for people living an alternate lifestyle especially) and not only butcher it, but not understand its message. I mean that would be like some KKK guy getting up and singing "We Shall Overcome" at one of his hate rallies.

I hate William Hung

 

I was never unfortunate enough to deal with him assaulting my ears a huge bit, but for a long time they had him do all the either Fox or WB cartoons that my kids watch, so he'd be doing the damned Pokemon song, etc. Painful

 

Its people like William Hung that made Kurt Cobain kill himself.

Seriously, he sings songs without even trying to understand their message. And if he ever does a cover of "Smells Like Teen Spirit" I am going to kill him; painfully.
