Is that Captain Harlock movie a reboot? It's one of the few names I recognize on that list, though I can't remember why...

Dunno if it's a reboot, but it's a fully CGI cinematic feature. I might go see it.

I just finished the first episode of Kill la Kill and oh my fucking lord that was AWESOME.

I was grinning like crazy two minutes in, and I've still got the look of a mad hatter on my face ten minutes later. I can't remember the last time I was this excited about an anime after just one episode.

Kill la Kill is the shit. Absolutely worth checking out. It will punch you in the gut, and leave you demanding more.

    SO. FUCKING. GOOD.

Golden Time has the potential to be on par with if not better than the greatest love story ever told!

And Kill La Kill was glorious as fuck. I've never been so giddy for an anime season before.

Not sure what the rule is on posting streaming sites, but if you search around, a readable sub is already out of all 4 episodes.

Checked out the first Kill la Kill episode after people here were so psyched about it but really, I am not going to watch another episode of this unless it changes quite a bit.

First half was rather entertaining with the randomness and all, and this school system that seems to be a joint project of nazis, romans and anime clichés, but the red letters constantly appearing got annoying rather fast, then the rape uniform happened with the rather off-putting rape dialogue, the retarded fanservice positioning of the captured girl that felt equally shifty alongside the sort flashing of an 8 year old girl and to top it of the disturbing fanservice outfit of the main character, which I am sure won't get better with time and I really fail to see what was so great about it.

It was random and bizarre at the beginning but it got shitty rather fast. I get that it isn't serious or anything but damn, man, no need to jump the shark that fast.

Kill La Kill - Eh. If you liked Trigger's last and only thing [Gurren Lagann] you'll like it. I don't really care for it.

Coppelion - Pretty as fuck, and lots of potential. Will see.

Trigger didn't do Gurren Lagann, that was Gainax, but a lot of the staff who did work on it founded Trigger. They've also had two other projects: Inferno Cop and Little Witch Academia.

I'm actually surprised Coppelion was released, considering it's subject.

Half dozen of the other. If it looks like GL, sounds like GL and was made by the people who did GL, it's basically GL in a different setting.

Yeah. I actually thought that point was overblown a bit until I watched it.

Holy crap, the first episode of White Album 2 was practically as perfect of an adaptation as there could be. I'm completely floored by it.

Eyup. The show was in development hell for a while because of the Fukushima disaster. Considering that it remains a huge deal, the fact that a show about a nuclear holocoust was allowed to air is surprising.

Valvrave: The Liberator came back today, and yep. It sure was more Valvrave.

This is a good thing. I missed that crazy nonsense.
