Would it be possible to give members the ability to post on an old thread, say Power of Time was finally updated, without bringing the rage of the whole forum down on you?

 

As said in some sticky or other, library threads are immune to necro-posting as long as you say something relevant about the story.

 

I meant not having the thread zoom to page one.

 

Ah..... But what would be the point of posting then? If it didn't go to the front, nobody would know that it was updated, making any posts made like that totally useless...

 

Okay, so not for the library, but just to comment on some ancient thread, but not raise seven levels of hell.

 

You'll never get yelled at so long as it's relevant, adds new to the thread and is WORTH adding. Otherwise, make a new thread.
