Thank god you decided to come back to the fandom.

Extremely well written one shot, with a very good feeling to it.

A well written fic, but an idea that has been done a thousand times. Wonderful if you love Ginny bashing, but the ending was pretty interesting. I would give it 4/5.

One of the best Love Potion Ginny fics around, probably.
On the other hand, it's still a Love Potion Ginny fic, and those are boring.
Seems like the plot is more or less wrapped up to me, can't see how it'd really continue... though it could be a base setting for other post DH fics, I guess.
Liked how Ginny got sent to Azkaban and how the potion made Harry act in-character.
Pity the Freed Harry didn't suddenly realize he'd named his kid Albus Severus and go kill the boy out of pity, though.

While it's true that "Ginny used a Love-potion on Harry" theme has been used numerous times (and who can not think about something like that after HPB) most of those are garbage. This on the other hand is very well written and engaging. Nice one-shot

This is definitely one of the best Post-DH fics I've read. The otherwise boring and clitched premise was executed in a way that kept me on the edge of my seat through the whole thing. I give this story a 5/5, but it should be kept as a one-shot, unless the author can dig up some other interesting conspiracy theories?

Excellent work overall, and a nice addition to the DLP Library.

Nice one-shot. One of the few Love-potion!Ginny's I actually like. However, that little scene with the Amorentia testing could've probably been avoided. I saw no point in it. Could've been easily mentioned later without actually going into the scene. Just made a problem in the flow of the story for me.

    4.3/5.

It's OK. The problem with polishing coal is that no matter how much you make it shine, it still is Coal.

    3/5

Would have been interesting had you thrown in something unexpected.

This is the only explanation I can honestly accept for Harry and Ginny being together. Hell, none of the pairing made any freaking sense.

Does anyone know if these quotes dispersed throughout the story were pulled out of the novels?

I personally don't think so. It would be quite interesting to see the full conversation form which those quotes are taken from though, now that I think about it. But I'm pretty sure it takes place some time after the climax of this story.

You know, I don't recall seeing any of these quotes in the book, such as the one with Hermione stating that the road to Hell is paved with good intentions. But I could be wrong.

And yeah, the Love Potion premise is getting more than a bit boring. I'd prefer it if someone does a spin on the type of potion Ginny used, adding more details on how it works, and how she laid her hands on it, instead of just relying on the 'Amortentia from the dungeons' plot device. I think I might actually do a short one in future, for the Ginny Kill-Off.

All in all, while I thought the general premise of this one-shot wasn't all that interesting, the feeling of suspense, and especially the ending, more than made up for it.

Oh. Either way, those quotes were masterfully used. Watermage knows his way around words.

An excellent way to reintroduce yourself back into the fandom. It just lacked something, I don't feel anything while/after reading it, which is something I personally look for when reading a fic.

3/5 however, considering you haven't written for a while, 4/5

I gotta say, I wasn't expecting that much when I clicked the story. But I was very nicely surprised. I agree, it has been done thousands of times before, but this time, it was done right.

Great stuff. Not because it's well written. Not because of the splendid use of quotes. Not even because Ginny is chucked in Azkaban. For me, this fic was more of a symbol, a rude gesture shown to auntie Jo saying that even after she said her final word we can still come up with something really good that will condradict her grand finale but, nevertheless, be compatible with everything she wrote... Did that make any sense?

    Anyway, 5/5.

Perfect sense. It's a bit of a challenge to take canon and continue it - but in a a way that satisfies the "alternative fan". And although I too enjoyed the quotes, I should point out that they are not actually from any of the books or movies. They are original, but I think it still works just fine.

Bah too bad thats a one shot... I like those Manipulative ginny fics where she's a nasty lil creature who gets her righteously deserved punishment. *le sigh* god never post when you've not slept. you tend to ramble and just keep typing when you should stop. okay stopping now.

I personally pictured the quotes as coming forth during auror interviews, or maybe even during the 'bad' stretch of an authorized biography...but I could be totally alone on that score.

I liked this, but I can't say I'm as enthused about it as some others. It makes a good splash as a return to the fandom, and as a well-done refuting of that sorry epilogue...but that's about all.

Did anyone else want to growl out the words "Tempest, DAMNIT!" ?
    4/5 Overall.
