    i've seen lots of youtube videos helping to Unlock one's phone, but i find it very difficult, i decided to go with codes, i even refered Wilkipedia and ex-url , can i go ahead with this or is there any other easier method ??

    Is unlocking even a big deal anymore? If you go to your carrier and say you don't plan to drop their service, they'll unlock your phone for you, for no extra charge. Just say you want to travel or something.

    If the guy's American, it doesn't matter. If I remember right, America is 2 band, while the rest of the world is 3 - 4. Foreign SIM cards just won't work in an American cellphone, or at least they didn't in mine.

    This sub-forum is for, I think, General Discussion of Harry Potter and/or Fanfiction, so you're a little off (re: Lurk Moar), but yeah. Most of the support type threads go into the support sub-forum.

    I don't know how to unlock your phone. My phone is from the olden days and doesn't have a camera, internet access, music player, or much of anything other than the ability to make phone calls.

    But damn, best battery life ever.

    That said you can get phones in America that are usable overseas -- mine is. I've used it in various countries you just need to check beforehand and get a phone able to operate on all the bands in question.
