Personally, I'd love to see a fic where Harry has to marry someone like Pansy P', or a Daphne Greengrass who's characterized as a racist and biggotted bitch - if not just for a somewhat innovative change to the normal shit seen.

When harry discovers that he is now Lord Black, he receives a note from Gringotts telling him that they need to meet to discuss some paper work. What he doesn't know is that the grass isn't always greener on the other side.

 

To be fair you do see it.

Usually arranged fics like that is between Hermione/Ginny with Snape/Draco. And I have read fics with Harry and Pansy/Daphne/FemBlaise before (years ago)

I used to read a lot of DHr/DG back when I first got into HP fanfiction - it wasn't an uncommon plot point and some were pretty fun (albeit repetitive and pretty much identical). The straight up DHr/DGs were a lot better without the Marriage Contracts and whatever though - better conflict in general.

 

Ah, that explains why I haven't seen it, then.

 

Runic Animagi, she hated him first. Was kinda cheezy, because once she fell for him, she went hard and fast.

 

That might have been caused by the fumes of dope smoking TV watching Dobby in Runic Animagi.
