Well, they have plenty of time before that happens. Maybe they can make Laurel a likeable character as they go along? That would be nice, at least.

 

I don''t know, Laurel would take years to even become competent at fighting like Oliver.

And if it is Sara, Id honestly find it a tiny bit of a cop out tbh.

 

The island scenes continue to tie this show together for me.
With Slade and Shado's inevitable transition and the awesome shot of the boat that Oliver is currently imprisoned in ship wrecked on the shoreline from the premiere, I could not be happier.
The Starling City segments are a little weak, but they were pretty weak in Season one with the exception of the Malcolm plot.

 

One scene that would be interesting, if Sara is Canary, when she gets reintroduced to Ollie - if she dosent know he's the Hood, whether she will be resentful etcetc.

 

I think she knows. I think that's why she's helping him as Canary.

 

It just hit me that canary let Roy go because he was somehow associated with Laurel.

 

I think Canary is Isabel Rochev, because it would seem really silly if the writers to make that name public on the internet but not in the show. It spoils the surprise.

Speaking of Isabel Rochev, it really wouldn't be a nerd TV show without a mandatory appearance of Summer Glau.

 

I think it was more along the lines of her losing interest in Roy because Laurel was in trouble and she had to go save her.

Of course, she probably saw the text was from Thea Queen as well, and if he's friends with Oliver's sister she probably thinks he's unlikely to be a member of the League of Assassins.

God, I really hope we get back to Slade and Ollie vs the World. That shit was the best part of this whole goddamn show.

 

I don't think we are ever going back to that. Slade is going to be beyond pissed at Ollie when we see them meet again.

 

Also just remembered back in season 1 Oliver explained to Helena that Sara was his "Crucible", and thats the title of his next episode.

 

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I'm fairly sure he said the island in general was his crucible, not just Sarah's death. Plus the episode could mean many things - the writers have said that if last season was 'what happened to Ollie on the island' then this season is 'what happened to Slade on the island'. In that context combined with what happened last episode the title could be because of what's happening with Slade.

Or you're right and it could be what Sarah's crucible was to turn her into the Black Canary. Seeing an episode with flashback's to Sarah's POV instead of Ollie's could be pretty cool.

 

I just can't believe all these people survived a sabotaged yacht.
