Moody is a great character, shame they had to go and ruin him on film...

Is it just me or did you all think that Moody:

A.) Was Covered in an assload of scars
B.) Was Thin/In Shape for an old man
C.) Had a really cool magical eye
D.) All of the above.

Blech. Couldn't they at least not show us these horrible pictures? Moody's supposed to be grizzly, like the picture on one of the chapters in the book. Can't remember which though. And the eye...I think it should be a normal eye just colored a bright electric blue. Like a glass eye or something, not this whole weird contraption.

I want to see who they'll use for Umbridge in the next movie. They SHOULD be able to find a good actress for her.

Oh, and I pick D too.

 

*shudders* man I have a feeling even I'd a better job in picking Moody than whoever chose that dude, and sticked that fake eye. I mean it looks soo plastic it's almost scary.
The funny part- they say in that article:

I can see Moody in a trenchcoat... Hell I can even see him as a warrior (as opposed to a paranoid crazy guy who likes hexing anything that breathes within 5 feet of him)... BUT I CAN'T SEE HIM AS A FAT ASS WITH A PLASTIC STRAP ON LAZY EYE!!!!!

 

Hmm, I say he doesn't have to be really thin, but I always thought he's going to have short/no hair and lots of scars. That eye looks like a remembral, or something.

 

I cant help but be reminded of that big fat reatard from the goonies movie....

I knew he reminded me of something but I couldn't remember what!

I see him as a bulky man but bulky with muscle and a bit of fat from being inactive. He was on of the best Aurors, I can't see him being a thin stick, or a fat tub, his character seems to be the type that would realize most wizards are weaklings, and his strength could overpower them in a time of need.

I see the eye as a normal glass eye, just magical. Maybe they could of made it shine when he used the magical powers to see through things or something.

The trenchcoat I could see, and it works, as does the scars.

Well we're stuck with this Moody for the 4th and 5th movie. Is he in the 6th book? Can't remember, I really don't want to go read it again. So we're just going to have to get used to it. And don't forget seeing Lupin again in book 4 and 5.

 

i hate what they did to moody as much as i hate the sixth book...why does he still have his nose intact...a big chunk of it is suppose to be missing..but yes the messed up with him big time

 

JK forgot about Lupin in the fourth book. He went on vacation or something.

 

yep he went back to whereever the hell he was during Harry's first 12 years of life.

 

He wasn't in Book 4? Hmm...I could've sworn he was. Ah well, he's coming back in Book 5, I was partially right. And I know exactly where Lupin was for 12 years and then another. He was busy at his job, working as a car salesmen so he could make enough money to live off of.

 

I have my own theory about Lupins poverty... Methinks it comes from paying child support to the various werewolf babies he sired during his full moon romps.


I mean think about it... The wolf only comes out once a month... You know it wants some action.

Moody is only allowed to have it because he's an ex-auror and completely paranoid and would kill out anyone who tried to take away the eye. Mainly the second reason. I had a third but I lost it.
