If I can gather anything from the previous posts, Alpha was too disorganized and chaotic for most people here's liking, so a lot of them left it.

 

Not really no, the alpha server is like 99% abandoned.

Aim for 4ish Asteroids with high fertility for econ. Build 15 space ports on them after awhile and trade with as many unique ppl as you can, that's the key to getting your econ high.

I'll be removing the masking on the AE forum soon, once I go through and find all the confidential stuff, and make it public access since we have so many AE'ers that aren't in our CN alliance.

 

In regards to account upgrading... can you even play properly without it? Since I'm not sure if I can foot the bill, since my money is tied up in other aspirations at the given moment. After reading this...

Can you even play properly without paying the 20 Euro? Since I was expecting this to be a f2p game, and I'm not sure how I'm going to approach this...

 

Yeah you can play, the only real restriction is you're A)going to take longer to build things, and B)not going to make thousands and thousands of credits an hour.

It's playable just fine free, and if you decide to slap out 10$, you get like 3 months upgraded, dont pay per month, buy in blocks

But really, if you like the game, join beta server, that is where most of us are. You can also have accounts on both alpha and beta (I do), so take what you have learned and apply it to beta.
