I knew this movie reminded me of something. But yeah I thought it was okay. It was a beautiful movie, especially in 3D but the plot was predictable and I got a headache from the anvils. But the actors were the ones who brought the story down for me. The main guy was about as exciting as wonder bread I hated listening to his narration. But Zoe Sandala was awesome and so was Sigorney Weaver.

I felt it was a little too long though. But the epic battle scene at the end was great. I love the Pterodactyl-thingies.

Essentially, it was Titanic combined with Halo and 9ft tall Smurfs.

Well, just saw this movie, and I have to say, I chose the best movie to watch for the first and only time in 3D.

Migraines fucking suck, never watching something in 3D again.

As for the movie, I fucking loved it. Sure, there were plot holes, sure, it went to extremes, but the special effects were incredible beyond belief. This alone, made the $18.50 I paid to watch it on the biggest screen, and in 3D worth it.

As for the plot lines? I actually didn't mind it at all. The characters, as before stated, were quite 2 dimensional, but I don't care that much. It does what it set out to do, be entertaining as fuck.
