    I'm sure at least 30% of DLP's monthly bandwidth is signatures...

    Aye which is why I took out my moving pic avatar, moving sig, Xfire link, and left it just some text and SIGamp.

    *smacks the shit out of those that use winamp, don't use sigserver, and spam posts in the "What are you listening to" thread. POST COUNT DOES NOT EQUAL KEWLNESS!

    /ranted out. Sorry just noticed how bad the post whoring was getting in that thread. *glares at the Games section*

    Sigamp and Xfire are externally linked, they do not count against the server's bandwidth...only ones uploaded do.

    So only avatars then I'd imagine, unless we've got an option to upload signature pics to the server I've managed to overlook

    figure the stuff in sigs would either be img /img tags, still externally linked, or ?

    Its still externally linked, but only the avatars are on the server, however the signatures are still downloaded by the browser, so they use the client's bandwidth.
