    Concerning Citrus:
First onto the Maiden wagon today, but with less than apparent reasoning. However, I very much like post #486:
He doesn't hesitate on calling out another person for agreeing with him. Additionally, he keeps up pressure on MathBlade after this post. His larger case on Maiden follows.

He jumps onto MathBlade in #581, proposing her as a counter-wagon. However, I don't see why this would be beneficial to town, especially after theorizing that scum might be trying to "split the vote." It seems as if Citrus is doing more to split the vote further here, directing a lynch away from his main scumread. He then switches back onto Maiden after a couple of posts. I don't really know what to make of that entire foray, but it seems a bit scummy.

He then comes back, prods Atum for a vote, and discusses a possible townslip by MathBlade with Rubicon. It seems as if he could be trying to set up a lynch on her the following day.

He gets points for pushing the lynch, points against for jumping back and forth, and points for active questioning. Null, with a slight town lean.

Crap. Ok, I'm leaving work in about 20 minutes, and I'm going out to dinner afterwards, so I probably own't be back before it's over, so cliffnotes:

Watch Citrus, ika, mathblade, atum. Lyrium too, if only to teach her to start answering questions for once.

I'll write as many supportive arguments as I can before leaving and add them here.

Rubicon, regarding your thoughts on Snowvon, I can see the rationale, more or less. At the very least I can see why you'd think so.
Although, I'm not seeing why any of those arguments are enough to townfirm him as strongly as you did.

    Especially this:
You touched on this, but your theory just doesn't seem as likely as mine. It's like you're trying to force him into a Town slot, why is that?

---------- Post automerged at 04:49 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:46 PM ----------

Fine. I'll hold you to that.
This post actually makes me feel slightly better about Snow, since at least he's giving thought to it, but it's just words if nothing comes of it.

Part of it is I've seen him do the same shit as town on IRC, and I don't think he's fooling me with all the other genuine stuff. He's not townfirmed, keep an eye on him, but he is a strong town read for me.

Like you points on ika, however, I've gone over how maiden/ika doesn't make sense, and how maiden is town, evne with ika's insanity into question.
    Also, this,
And you didn't vote this time either. I guess she was at L-1 at the time.

---------- Post automerged at 05:04 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:56 PM ----------

Argh, I gotta go. Last most important tihng: Ika suggested a mathblade lynch as soon as I put my maiden argument, and I wanted to analyse, I did, say let's vote mathblade, he responded by refusing on grounds that it wouldn't make a difference at this point.
Later on, he said screw it and voted...for Snowvon.
I think he went out of his way not to vote for mathblade. I can't check their interactiosn right now, but it's something to think about.

---------- Post automerged at 05:04 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:04 PM ----------

ok, good luck guys, that's what you should rmeember if I'm taken out tomorrow. Take care!

The voting thing is difficult for me, I'm still adjusting to the idea of using votes for pressure. Assuming I'm not NK'd toNight, my vote should come a lot quicker.

You know Sloth, I'm not even sure what you want from me. What am I doing that's so wrong? I'm trying in my own way.

Every game you do the same thing, why don't we do this if both of us are alive start a flashwagon on me tomorrow first thing. Get me lynched, it will give you some contentment. Hell, it will be fun for me to get lynched as a townie and go down in flames.

As for MathBlade, she was mislynched day one in WIFOM for similar behavior and it was kind of abrupt for her first game so I felt a little bad about her introduction to mafia on DLP. Maybe she rolled scum but I'm hoping not because doing random stuff seems to be her thing and being scum in your first\second game sucks.

This goes back to trying to meta how sadistic Riley\luck\randomizers could get or not.

I don't feel like ika's scum but that's because of his claim (in response to or trying to protect the original claimer?). However, trying to rationalize ika's behavior is not in my skill set.

Now something I can answer without reading the game. Yes!

Voting for pressure is a tool used to solve the game. People react differently under pressure than they do when not under pressure. There tends to be a huge amount of strategy involved.

For tomorrow, I recommend we all post hypotheticals in our first post. If I am the cop, I would have checked XYZ. This should happen if no cop outs with a guilty. This gives the scum no information and penalizes them by confirming all the hypothetical checks of the cop. Plus, it forces information from scum.

Considering everyone will have the nightfall to think about their claim, this will not allow anyone to cop hunt by the answer.

Question for you. You /replaced before. Did you keep up with the thread while potentially being available to /replace?

    ---------- Post automerged at 17:29 ---------- Previous post was at 17:27 ----------

I agree with Titus...The last thing we are is aligned....If anything I'd hope for an ika lynch tomorrow as he seems scummy to me. And if I get lynched tomorrow that's where my thoughts are going to stay unless something dramatic happens.

    ---------- Post automerged at 17:30 ---------- Previous post was at 17:29 ----------

Agreed Lyrium. That was a replace game....Although that derp was strategy and this was not....:facepalm I'm still facepalming myself over some of the stuff I did.

I don't like this, because it narrows the pool for the cop (seer). Ex: I say Titus is innocent and she is scum, Titus now knows I'm not the Seer. Etc.

Citrus, the town aren't all going to pick the same person. Scum may be able to eliminate one or two people but not that many. Plus, worst case scenario, the scum find the seer. We get a conftown. We always run the risk the seer will be outed, particularly if ika as scum because he's a good PR hunter.

Mathblade, it depends. This game I did not. I just got back from an extended emergency absence from the site. I put in to replace to make up to people for Wifom. So short version, I haven't followed.

As for the Oh god comment, that's more of a melodramatic statement than commenting on the gamestate.

Don't get caught too far in the meta wormhole. Most of it is wifom, especially for newer players. For more seasoned players, there may be scum tells but you usually find those by playing with people for awhile.
