A fun and different RWBY story that follows Roman and Neo as they go around the Vale underworld and be awesome.

It does a good job of taking their canon characters and throwing them into situations where you can really enjoy them as protagonists.

4/5 - not mind blowing, but does exactly what it sets out to do and is a refreshing change from the RWBY-centric stories.

 

It's great fun, the writing is solid, the character interactions are entertaining and I love this take on Roman and Neo. Other characters, such as Glynda and another team get to shine as well.

A strong 4/5.

 

A solid eh from me, probably 3/5.

The first few chapters were pretty fun and the characterization made me smile, but when the plots tuff came to light I ended up being quite bored.

The problem with campy/cheesy Torchwick here isn't that he ain't funny, but that there is so much melodrama from other characters it muddles the effect.

A fun timewaster if not much more, imo.
