    Could be misremembering but it was like pulling teeth to get reads from you in CYS....you weren't scum there either. Doesn't really phase me about you yet.

    Can I get some examples of games where you were scum Rubicon?

    I'll post reads later today regardless. I'm just mulling over certain people's reactions to me so far.

    How so?

    Boy this is boring. Everyone who's not voting should vote - at the very least for a lurker, to inspire something. Let's change the dynamic a touch...

    @Riley

    1) What are your thoughts on the Lyrium/TerRaine tiff?

    2) Did you get anything out of these questions? You never followed up on either of them. What's your next step in figuring people out who is scum?

    ---------- Post automerged at 03:03 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:06 PM ----------

    Actually I want to talk to Snowvon.

    Snow, what did you mean by this?

    What stuck out to me about your reaction to my entrance is that you suddenly started trying to be a lot more aggressive, to be seen scumhunting, when you weren't really doing that before... and you know it's something I look for.

    Also you said 'it's my job to be suspicious of you' line which reminds me of something you said in that masons game ika ran on mafiascum.

    ---------- Post automerged at 03:08 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:03 PM ----------

    Citrus, your inclusion of Schrodinger on your town block list is weird as hell. You call him town the point of intercepting someone else's pressure on him at one point ('I'm pretty sure he's town actually').

    Especially since I'm pretty sure your reason for calling him town is based on something he said before people got role PMs? (But also just super weak regardless.)

    That's not even PoE, it's just like randomly calling people town.

    :D

    The way Zenzao worded his post implied I didn't intend to react the way that I did. Or at least that's how I took it.

    Really? I don't feel like I've been all that aggressive. I posted some questions I've been tossing around in my QT, but that's about it.

    (it's because I think you're really cool and I don't want you to think I'm lame, shh)

    Are you saying I am more likely to be scum if I say something that sounds sort of similar to something else I once said before as scum? That's a little stretchy.

    Come at me dudebro.

    ---------- Post automerged at 19:58 ---------- Previous post was at 19:18 ----------

    Alright. in painstaking order I will now respond.

    1) Yes, based on the placement in his readslist that was a high townread. You pointing out that it was so for bad reasons doesn't really improve the situation.

    2) I didn't say it wasn't a tell, simply that I did not know. Thus it's pretty obvious why I brought it up, to bring people's attention to an aspect of your posting that stuck out to me as suspicious. Yes, I think you're scum, so yes, I am going to try to get the rest of the town to lynch you toDay.

    3) Fine, much like the quoted section suggests I wasn't sure on this point.

    4) I understood your explanation for the backpedal the first time. That doesn't change what it was.

    5) I think you meant Riley and TerRaine respectively here, but the issue stands. You weren't forced to say any of the townreads were scum, and c'mon, everyone's 'potentially scum' to townies D1 so that's an idiotic differentiation to make. If they weren't your scumreads you needn't have mentioned them since again, it only further confuses the issue of your actual reads.

    Interesting question: are Aekiel, Lyrium, and Snowvon townreads for you? Why?

    Also this doesn't really match your argument so you may want to get your story straight here.

    6) I'll admit that I was confused here because of this:
    Which is my bad. Although to avoid confusion, how about you just give your scumreads instead of alluding to them as the 'top three.' No room for error there.

    7) It's a thing I've seen other people use, typically later in the game like D3. Looking back it's hard to follow the intentions of your posts and actions from a town mindset. Especially in regard to reads and voting.

    My case on you was the result of exactly what I've already said, looking through the thread. Seeing you stick out. And looking closer.

    @TerRaine: Her response to me seemed to validate my original concern, in that she agreed there was an issue. Then she was townreading him, which she's explained but at the time I thought it was weird.

    @Snowvon: I didn't really think anything was wrong necessarily, just that your posts struck me as off and I couldn't really explain why.

    @Q^whatever: Citrus' PoE thing is the 'town block.' So scumhunting by townclearing and investigating the remainder. D1 I mostly read through and poke interesting things until a suspicious thing appears. Then I try to kill it.

    @Riley This is how I have been seeing you as defensive pre 227,
    #37 Minimalistic answers.
    #41 As you stated in this post there was an avoidance to the question. You only stated that there is no need to answer it, which shows guard.
    #107 In your direction to Snowvon you stated and explained why you didn't want to share your thoughts and opinions. This can been seen as defensive.
    #169 Direction towards TerRaine seemed snappy, which denotes defensiveness.
    #181Third paragraph reads defensively when going from the second paragraph, mostly for the fact you are lessening pushing and prodding.

    Don't you think waiting for hard data will give an advantage to the scum rather then help town?

    ---------- Post automerged at 23:43 ---------- Previous post was at 23:26 ----------

    My goal for day one is to try and get to know the ways people post.
    I don't really know what I'm planing to do yet in trying to find the scum. The things I have found suspicious thus far, such as the capitalization in Snowvon's post have been personal quarks.

    -Why is it you find Sloth and Citrus the most dangerous players?
    -For what reason are you sensitive to people reading you day one?

    Just a general reminder, discussing the game in any fashion outside of the thread can compromise game state. Please try and keep Batmafia separate. Thank you.

    Lyrium questions: phone posting so no fun quote tags
    1. What are your opinions on Heath Ledger and his rendition of the Joker?
    2. Favorite Batman movie\tv show\cartoon\visual representation?
    3. Basically, we've got three factions. Since the game had to be made into lucky #17, do you see any benefits for town in the new arrangement?
    4. Which character is the biggest threat to town?
    5. Oh and mafia experience on DLP or otherwise?

    1. Best damn joker ever.
    2. Dark Knight probably. Hard to pick.
    3. Yes but I think best not to mention them else they can be twisted to scumifits.
    4. The townie that plays so scummily that causes a mislynch because they are scared of what will happen next.
    5. You know like almost all of it :p

    Hi MathBlade! What is the weird vibe you're getting from Citrus? I agree, but I want to hear it from you.

    Snowvon, I was wondering if it would make you more likely to be scum, not because it sounds similar, but because it's the same way of interacting with me. That said, you don't sound like you feel guilty so you're probably town.

    -

    Also I finally got around to reading the conversation between Lyrium and TerRaine earlier. I can't help but get the impression they're both town.

    I think the meat of their argument is null, because it's more about last game than this one. That said, I think the fact that both of them continue scumhunting other players while talking to each other, and neither of them seems worried about being pressured or voted, and yet they both make some attempt to resolve it and not just create more drama, makes it look town-on-town to me.

    Schrodinger, Nemrut and Fishy Justice all suck and there's nothing for me to read them based on. Boo. MathBlade will hopefully be more interesting.

    The newer players all unnerve me, but I think Quanksor is actually scum. So far he's (1) joked around a lot, trying to make us like him; (2) proposed a mass claim -- null at best, not scumhunting; (3) proceeded to spend the rest of his posts defensively OMGUS'ing Zenzao over a little pressure.

    Unvote: town!TerRaine
    VOTE: QUANKSOR

    Could you give a brief summary of your thoughts about each player? Who are you suspecting and why? Who looks town to you and why? Etc.

    Okay general reads here. On each player
    In order by player listing
    After stating reasons I will list them in town to scum order because I can't read colors all that well.

    Riley -- Play seems very reminiscent of the game where he was town and Titus was serial killer and blab was final scum. Overall good feeling about him. Strong lean town

    [FONT=&quot]Snowvon[/FONT] -- Having a player called his fluffiness is going to be confusing. That's how I think of Snowvon XD. However in this game I think he's being rather scummy and really buddying to Ter who is one of my top scum reads. (See: https://forums.darklordpotter.net/showpost.php?p=775674&postcount=247) This post buddies Ter and says I'm going to be a sheep instead of make my own decisions. When he was a newb and sheeping it was different. Moderate Lean scum

    [FONT=&quot]Aekiel[/FONT] --
    Ugh. Really not much to go on since not sharing his reads. Bleh. Don't like that it's hard to read him right now especially since I usually have a hard time reading Aekiel no information makes it worse. Null

    [FONT=&quot]Citrus[/FONT] --
    This guy I usually end up misreading unfortunately. :facepalm My gut read right now is that he is scum based upon the PoE that he usually does earlier and earlier as scum to try to appear town and this seemed to take some heat from my top scumspect Terraine. Terraine also mentioned Citrus and Rubicon as being scummy in big bold letters yet votes for his fluffiness that seems to be playing the game.

    https://forums.darklordpotter.net/showpost.php?p=775281&postcount=203

    That post also seems to be a scumslip. It seems as if he is excluding himself from being town and it would make sense that he would have a confidence in his town hunting if scum. That would make town uber obvious. Notice how his post omits Riddler. Very likely scum.

    [FONT=&quot]Lyrium[/FONT] --
    The beginning against Terraine is rather interesting. I think there is very likely opposite alignments between Lyrium and Terraine. Since Terraine is my top scumspect I'm putting Lyrium in the town category but null town lead.

    [FONT=&quot]Sloth[/FONT] --
    Not much to go on here but I like what little there is. Null but very slight town lean.

    [FONT=&quot]TerRaine[/FONT] --
    Very likely scum. Majority of posts are mechanics related or arguing with Lyrium. Lyrium is usually very good with power roles and I think if I go with the assumption Terraine is scum then trying to mislynch Lyrium makes sense.

    I also don't like how the buddying with Citrus/Rubicon (a smidge) started out.

    [FONT=&quot]Qgqqqqq[/FONT] --
    Not sure what to think. Says newb town read of Quanksor but asks what doubtcasting is. ??? No read yet.

    [FONT=&quot]Vesvius[/FONT] replaced by Rubicon --
    I waffle on Rubicon. I like the fact he pressured me on why Citrus was scummy but overall just feels weird. I can't point to a specific post but something is off. Null for now but a few more posts should help

    [FONT=&quot]Nemrut[/FONT] --

    Null. Please post a read wall or thoughts or something constructive when you come on today please.

    [FONT=&quot]Atum[/FONT] --
    I like his pushes of his fluffiness so far. Very limited postings but what I see is protown. I think his fluffiness is town and new but Atum's critique's are good. Oh and Atum Citrus more often than not does PoE early as scum and later as town. IMO it isn't the action but when.

    [FONT=&quot]His fluffiness[/FONT] --
    I like him as uber defensive town. Reminds me of my horrible start on DLP. *shivers*

    [FONT=&quot]Quanksor[/FONT] --
    Not sure. Another waffler. I haven't seen a town game of quanksor yet only scum on Fantasy Strike. So null for now.

    [FONT=&quot]Me[/FONT] -- Town :D
    [FONT=&quot]Zenzao[/FONT] -- Null but I don't like his faking alignment comments. Needs more posts slight scum read.
    [FONT=&quot]16. Fishy Justice[/FONT] -- Null read.
    [FONT=&quot]17. Kento Kraitos[/FONT] -- Not sure why making arguments towards Riley ATM. Especially a PBPA this early generally serves as conf!bias. I do like his questions to Atum. Slight town lean

    Because I'm not doubt casting her. I'm pointing out a play she made when town in another game and seeing signs of it here.

    No I didn't. I put their names in big bold letters in a wall to get their attention for several questions they had not answered yet.

    Not sure if you're lying, reaching, or not reading.

    Can you explain what in that post is excluding himself as town? I'm not sure I understand
