Also I don't pursue it because you never make sense to me, Math. Your actions and responses don't follow any set or logical pattern, which is why more often than not, you're wrong - but sometimes you're right, so maybe there's something to it?
Either way that's why I'm not pursuing it, until I have more, anyway - this 'gut vote lolz' thing...I guess I can see your town game doing it...?

My case on Atum is that he's been Changed. He's Different. 222 gave me CYS!Atum feels. And then he dumped an enormous post after people started scumreading him to, I dunno, discourage us from ever wanting to read anything by him ever again. I needed several bookmarks and potty breaks to get through that.

I am always serious.

I have townreads and nullreads and leftovers. Quanksor is a bottom-tier leftover, after you and Atum.

 

So I've finally had time to pay attention to this game, lets hope it isn't too late.

I reread the first ten pages and I'll give my short rundown on the players from there/the last few pages of the thread.

God its depressing how many people have subbed out, though.

Just to get things out of the way, a quick TLDR:

I see Sloth as town, and won't be voting him.

I see Quanksor as somewhat scummy, a maybe that I'll vote on if it comes down to it.

My strongest scum-reads are on Lyrium, Rubicon, Riley and possibly Quanksor. Not in any particular order.

 

What seems town about Sloth Q?

 

Sloth/Atum/Quanksor/Qgqqqqq team.

I still say Quank is the stronger candidate. If nothing else than based purely on the difference reactions to their wagons between him and Sloth.

 

Sloth is scum for trying to talk me out of my town reads. Fool me once, etc.

 

Quanksor is a the only leading wagon behind Sloth, and coincidentally, Q still doesn't really want to lynch him.

Because this is all anyone cares about, I'll give it in advance:

Sloth: For obvious reasons, I've been paying paticular attention to Sloth's posts of late, and honestly, I just like what I see. Despite being in a very precarious position, Sloth seems to be holding it together very well and still trying to scumhunt - and not just on his obvious competition, either, but on everyone. Now certainly, this is something you want to do as scum as well, but I find it town as in I feel the scumhunting and the desire to almost give back what he can before the end is not being put on but seems very genuine and his attempt to be useful to the town. His original Riddler/massclaim post was a bit stupid/ill-thought-out, but I didn't find it paticularly scummy - an annoying continuation of a meta-discussion which has thankfully faded away, and a very ill-advised contribution as well, but not one that screamed scum. His contribution pre-absence was a lot of stuff that I found useful/scumhunty, and when he returned, that setup continued. Honestly, rereading his posts I don't find anything that would make me jump out and vote for him - his concept of pressuring town-reads feels weird to me, but is internally-consistent and not scummy in and of itself, and honestly from his posts I'd disagree that this is what is going on - maybe he doesn't call it that, but he certainly seems to be scumhunting and pressuring his scum plentiful. Idk, like I said, my gut read is town, my read of his posts doesn't disagree, and I find myself agreeing with much of what he says. I don't see a scum here.
...fuck this is me writing my own deathwish if he is scum, isn't it? :lol: Still, that's my read and I'm sticking with it.

 

I'm actually inclined to believe a Q/Quank alignment.

Something which I have been making quite clear for a long time.

And given I've just locked myself out of voting Sloth, shouldn't I be rearing for a Quanksor kill right now, if he and I are scum (and presumably Sloth as well - my, you're impressed with your own reads, aren't you?), as it seems very unlikely another wagon would form in time, and thus I should want to get as much credit for it as possible - a reluctant near-the-end jump on a scumwagon does not town credit make. Thus, if I was scum, then my current lack of interest in a Quanksor wagon - when I've made it clear that I will hammer if we approach end of day without it - is inane.

 

So, I know this is not ideal for my personal survivability, but Sloth feels distinctly Towny to me.

Snow, isn't it much more likely that its me+Sloth with a town Quanksor? (If I'm scum, that is.) I just don't see how my actions make sense if I'm scum aligned with both of them, and it seems to me that it's more your own confirmation bias at play here.

Sort of a good point on the huge wallpost, but are you saying nothing there was town-driven and accurate? Cause if so, you have to explain why.
A scum would make up a huge argument and make it sound good.

Ok, Snow, so what I'm hearing here is that despite the fact that...

-You had no case on Quanksor at all.
-You had several posts where you gave your reasons and thoughts that I was scum.
-And that both Quanksor and I were the leading trains, arguably head-to-head.

...You voted for Quanksor instead on no basis other than he was left over and somewhat more likely (at the time) to be lynched (mislynched?).
Instead of, you know, vote for the guy your posts indicated you thought was scummier.
Also, given that this was at least a day ago and there's 20 hours left today, it wasn't a matter of consolidation.

Does anyone see what I'm saying here? Am I talking to a wall?
