See, if Lyrium is town/Riddler, than I can very strongly see a Mathblade scum taking that position - note how MB was briefly on Lyrium and then switched positions. By doing so you a) avoid having the very, very big headache of arguing with Lyrium - and she seems to largely ignore people who agree with her/read her as town, so that lets up some pressure,
b) force that same pressure onto another player (/increase the pressure on TerRaine), exacerbating the situation and moving away from happy compromise, increasing the distraction away from you/your scumbuddies. Also
c) When Lyrium is mislynched (/lynched as Riddler) you're strong stance from a early stage in the game gets you townie points and allows you to take an easy side in a conflict.

Oh and d) hopefully TerRaine then responds by showing her role either getting her killed by Riddler or just generally helping it along.

Now how about responding to the long list of reasons why Lyrium is scum.

 

Something which (In my, and many other players opinion) you did not provide adequate reasoning for, and have been doing so more than seems appropriate - I think TerRaine is almost 100% town, but I'm not screaming at Lyrium for targeting her (which, as we've seen, doesn't help the matter.)

Accept she doesn't get credit. She hasn't really defended Lyrium, despite pressure from many sources to do so. Instead, if Lyrium flips town, it looks like Mathblade had zero reasons to actually defend Lyrium's conduct but rather knew Lyrium was town.

 

Oh and in case that looks like a turnaround, especially with a lynch possible:

I still think Lyrium is likely one of scum or Riddler, and she is my strongest suspicion as such. Leaning the Riddler. I'm merely considering scenarios.

The people who want Lyrium lynched are just saying that the millions of reasons that have been provided by multiple people aren't reasons.

No, she doesn't get much credit. But then, she's likely imagining a scenario where lynch happens closer to the deadline (gambit had not occurred at that point) and thus she has several days of supporting/defending Lyrium.

And, of course, she still thinks she has given reasons, for some reason or another.

 

Then you can show where you can provide a reason beyond she's being framed or meta.

You cannot just tell us to go fish for reasons. You want us to actually believe Lyrium is town, someone actually has to argue for it. The burden is on the person attempting to persuade not on the person attempting to solve the game by what information they see and deduce.

We aren't psychic. You aren't entitled.

I'm satesfied with why Citrus/Snowyvon think she's town. You did a about-turn and then started yelling/tossing it about as though you were 150% sure she is town, without giving any real reasons.

Lyrium is abrasive and downright mean in her town games. This is an obvious conclusion. {Sorry Lyrium}

Lyrium is gradually working on it by not doing it so much to a player the first time on the forum (which I appreciate and think is good sportsmanship).

This while she has had her rude moments shows a general respect for the game and she is working on improving and cares about people listening to what she says about Terraine.

Sure she's being stubborn and a bit bullrushing but this is Lyrium. I have played with her and seen her at work.

In CYS I literally just said fuck everything and do whatever I wanted. This one I care about people seeing the truth. I AM TOWN. LYRIUM IS TOWN but if ya'll are too stubborn to see it then let's play her goddamn gambit and get it over with so we can scumhunt tomorrow.

 

#1599 implies that Mathblade isn't scumhunting today. (We can start scumhunting tomorrow, despite this whole discussion is literally the process of scumhunting. We put forth evidence and discuss not just flail randomly.)

Also, since when do you use meta arguments. Personality meta is absolutely fickle as hell. I could use those same set of observations. Lyrium town is an ass. Lyrium is being less of an ass so she's scum. That doesn't warrant the level of confidence you have.

You should be talking about specific posts and specific actions Lyrium has done, not just a general tone.

Anyone can make a case on me based on my particular and specific postings and say why they think it's town and have an actual dialogue. It should be the same for Lyrium.

All you have been able to do is "OMG SCUMCLAIMED" based on an obvious joke and shout Lyrium is town. There needs to be substance and actual hunting there.
