Meh. Let Nolan handle it and don't worry if it's good or not. If Hans Zimmer deems the movie satisfactory enough for him to write a soundtrack for it, it's worth seeing. (A general rule for movies.)

That said, I'd kill to have sequence where Joker mentally twists Dr. Quinn and gets out. Or perhaps a clever bitch Catwoman. In the next movie, Batman is seen as a villain, which might make him extremely isolated as an individual. This signals a couple things - more interactions with shady characters as Batman (Catwoman) and more 'Bruce' time in the movie-world, since he'll have to use his cover more often.

Bane might work, but he's a little too larger than life, and his powers unrealistic. The Riddler is perfection, but unless they write a super clever script it will suck.

Have you seen Joker Blogs on youtube? It's about Joker from Dark Knight in Arkham and it's surprising good for amateur production.

Nolan confirmed the title as The Dark Knight Rises and killed the notion of The Riddler being the villian.

I don't know what to think of this title. It's so uninspired for me.

This, pretty much. And I was hoping it would be the Riddler. Ah well, at least it's not in 3D.

Matches Malone was a two-bit crook that tried to shoot Batman and managed to off himself with the ricochet. Batman just assumed his identity.

Pretty sure they already confirmed that they wouldn't use the Penguin.

That title is fucking horrible. And he said Trilogy. I hope he makes more then the 3, because he's done this series more awesome then I'd of ever thought possible.

Almost certainly won't happen. He wasn't keen at first on even doing this one, and has said for certain that he won't be doing more. He's also one of the few film-makers alive who can call their own shots - virtually no other filmmaker alive could have gotten Inception made. And despite what that article said, there's no way Warners agreed initially to not doing it in 3D. Double releases are a studio orgasm. So, yeah, he's not going to be pushed into it.

I think more would weaken it anyway. This one already has to match up to Begins and Dark Knight, two very different films that come tantalisingly close to perfect cinema, and if he can manage that as far as I'm concerned he should retire, having graced us with a long list of excellent films, before he starts to lose his shit and does something wrong.

Edit: To include the original reason for the reply, which was yes, the title sucks.

I sorta agree that it's probably better off that they stop after this one unless the Nolans suddenly come up with some brilliant idea of a storyline in a few years.

My fear is that WB will end up just getting a different director to continue the story. It won't be as good as Nolan's, and probably wouldn't be as good as Burton's.
