Hahaha, that's true as well. Knowing Nolan's history with female characters, Miranda, regardless of whether she's Talia, would have some sort of romantic relationship with Batman. It's a little inevitable.

As much as I'm geeking out over this, I'm also kinda pissed as well. I wish Neeson's presence on the set hadn't been leaked. I suppose there was no way they could've kept Catwoman's presence a secret, but c'mon. Save some surprises for the fucking film, for once.

It's irritating that the only person who seems to be able keep anything about his films almost completely under wraps, is that Spielberg-fellating toolbag J.J. Abrams.

 

Come on, Super 8 wasn't that bad. I liked it. =)

I wanted to correct you that it's teaser trailer, but I see you have done it yourself. Anyway, looks interesting. Bane is definitely creepy which is in plus for me.

Also, for some reason Tom Hardy's face in Bane's mask in this teaser reminds me strongly of Heath Ledger. This gave me an idea of Joker being Bane's brother and a member (or a former member) of the League of Shadows (which is something I already saw people speculating about). Not that it's a very good idea, because Joker works perfectly as the agent of chaos on his own, but it could be done.

 

Who was the hospitalized dude?

Also, I hope the Bat gets broken for good. You know that would be the perfect way to end the Trilogy, as Nightwing or Red Robin or whatever takes up the post of Gotham's protector. A Bat-League (Batgirl, Nightwing, Robin, Red Hood & Oracle) to take up the charge.

 

That would suck. Like, really, really suck. That would be the worse way to end the trilogy, especially since there has been no Robin so far, nor any of the Bat-family, thankfully.
What must be done is that by the end of the movie Batman must be on his prime. Fully recovered from whatever it is he suffered (hopefully we won't see his back broken by Bane, that's too mainstream), and fully ready to take on the arsenal of villains that have arisen throughout the trilogy.

 

DId anyone see Mask of the Phantasm, the scene where he's on the run from the police? I want that in this movie.

 

I'll abandon the Bat-Family concept, but it needs to end with Bruce broken by Bane. The final sacrifice of the Dark Knight for Gotham to be his own body.

Which part of "Dark Knight Rises" was hard to understand? Where's the Rising in a broken body?
Joking aside, think on it, it makes no sense. The series plays on Batman's beginning and early years, it would make no sense in ending his crime-fighting career so soon.
It's not about beginning, middle and end. It's only about the beginning, with Dark Knight Rises bringing us to the point where preparations have been made, and shit is about to get real.
They're trying to establish the foundations on Batman himself and his villains, at which point the trilogy will end with an image of Batman not very different from the one in comics right now.
It would also be counter productive to end a trilogy with the main (super-hero) protagonist broken and defeated.


P.S: Fuck all the above, if the goddamned Batman gets finished by freakin Bane, I wouldn't even have the ability to rage. My head would just explode.

Maybe, the studio will pressure him to direct more movies and you will get to see it. He could come full circle with 'Batman Ends'. I'm still hoping to see Poison Ivy done right. She is my favorite character, and Karen Gillan is made for that role.
