I dunno, Rep. Batfleck is wearing armor at the end of the trailer and that line that goes "how do you plead"... I think it might be along the lines of Bat trying honest to god beat the shit out of Supes, while Supes is just defending himself, not attacking and trying to convince Bat that he's not a bad guy. And then there's Wonder Woman.

The setup is just too good to not show some cool action. Supes is superhuman, Batfleck has all his toys... I think it's a given there will be fighting.

 

The line is

"Do you bleed? You will. "

Which, yeah, implies fighting.

 

No doubt. I'm hoping it's just teasing. An actual fight would step on way too many toes and leave many people unsatisfied.

And yet, all the execs must know this. So if they do decide to go for a fight they must have a plan. So eh. We'll see.

 

Aw shit. That trailer gave me a semi. Batfleck looks good as Bruce Wayne and the shot of his full body Batsuit was sick. I loved it. I don't care if the plot is contrived, Batfleck is pretty much the only reason I want to see it.

Plus we need to see Jared Leto's Joker versus Batfleck. Just a film version of The Man Who Laughs or something similar. Aaaaaaaah, majorly excited.

 

Well, there goes my hearing.

We got a very brief shot of the Batmobile. From the pics that were released last year, it looks like a cross between Burton's, the Tumbler and the car from Arkham Knight. I really hope we'll see some good action with it. That thing looks awesome. Like an F1 tank. Unfortunately, whatever we get, it'll probably be in the dark of night. Eh.

edit: Just had a thought. Ben Affleck is pulling a Downey. Sure, he started directing years ago, but I didn't hear about his first two directing credits until Argo, then he was in Gone Girl and now it looks like he'll make a fine superhero. He'll be around the same age when BvS drops as RDJ was around Iron Man.

Henry Cavill looks good as Superman and he's not a bad actor, but he just doesn't have the star power to carry a film yet imo (which is why I wasn't amazeballs impressed by MoS).

I'm calling it now. Affleck will be the face of DCCU.

 

The trailer didn't excite me so much. I guess I was expecting at least a glimpse of some action. I expect a fight of course.
But the line You will (After do you bleed) sounded a bit cheesy and weird. I didn't see Wonder Woman. Was she in the teaser?

 

No, she wasn't. And as for action, we saw the Batwing blowing shit up.

I wonder if Batman will have that kind of voice modulation throughout the movie, like in Arrow, or if it's just because of the power armor. Sounds better than Baleman at least.

I think the problem is that this is definitely a sequel to Man of Steel, and even the trailer reminds me a lot of Man of Steel. And I got really hyped for that. And then I was very, very disappointed.

 

This trailer was kinda underwhelming. Buncha bullshit quotes and humanity being retarded. The only thing about it that was interesting was that one of the people talking was Lex Luthor.

Batman looked cool, but his lines sounded like he was trying waaay too hard to be cool.

Is it just me or is this line not just cheesy but stupid as well? What's the point in asking?

I am curious how the Wayne satellite at the end of Man Of Steel will be used. Was Batman already in action at this point and trying to get some intel on the kryptonians?

 

Sounded a bit like two different lines that they'd stuck together. I'm hoping that's the case.

 

I am cautiously optimistic, but I wasn't overwhelmed. Looked like it was mashed together to put something against The Avengers.

 

Batman has been my favourite character since I was a kid. Infact I hardly knew any of the Marvel characters. But with the MCU, they have made their characters more famous than DC.

DC is playing a lot of catch up on this. I wish the movie goes well because I really want to watch Justice League.

Without a doubt, my most expected 2016 movie. I love most of the shots but they make me a bit worried about the overall plot of the movie. I'll guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Really like the idea of Eisenberg as a young, small Luthor standing up to the god that is Superman. The Robin suit is what made me realize how much I want a Batman: Under the Red Hood adaptation on the big screen.

 

All good, except Kryptonite - it is boring plot device. Clark should have hurled Zod's body into the sun.

 

Jesse Eisenberg... Christ almighty, who chose him to play Lex Luthor? He looks like a kid, and not to mention that voice of his is completely unsuited for a role like that.
