He looks a bit... big around the middle. Fat almost. Coupled with the Bat-sign design they seem to be shooting more for Frank Miller's interpretation of things.

It actually is kind of cool. Different for sure and most people appear to like it.

Which means that Wonder Woman's costume will be a total disaster because there is no way that WB will allow fans to say good things about this movie for too long. ;)

Hm. The giant Frank Miller bat symbol annoys me, I've never liked that. Besides that it looks like it could be good. I want to see a better picture of the suit though, in color and everything.

Here you go. Not official or anything, but it seems to be a pretty likely guess.

That fucking bat symbol is an eyesore. Also the texture of the suit's a little weird. Still, it doesn't look that bad. At least they're doing something different than the Nolan movies.

Oh, and the cape looks more like leather than cloth. Another point over the Nolan suits.

Yeah, of all the Bat symbols, this is the one I hate the most. Sad that this is what they're going with.

Corrected :p. Eh, strike that even. Just a face, if even that, with CGI and stunt doubles these days. A voice, maybe? Maybe.;)

So it's finally got an official title: Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.

The lack of an s after that v is intentional, apparently. Maybe they're alluding to how the justice system names cases? I dunno. Still think "World's Finest" would've been better. Besides how confrontational this title sounds, it reminds me of how they subtitled the first Captain America as "The First Avenger" to market it as a prequel to The Avengers.

On the other hand, it's better than most of the titles I saw proposed earlier.

Man of Steel II: Shadow of the Bat.

Probably the most obvious title they could have gone with.

Calling it now: Batman and Superman don't fight, they just have a protracted legal battle over the course of the film.

That would be horrible, but at the same time, absolutely epic.

    All I can picture now:

While I remain unsure about Gadot as Wonder Woman, the costume is good enough for me.

That picture annoys the fuck out of me. They removed all color from Wonder Woman's costume and then made it worse by completely desaturating the image. It's okay to have color, man. :colbert:

Sounds like you didn't read the whole box:

Pretty sure she's supposed to wear red gold and blue, not, uh, brown and black.

    Also, heels?

Not in DC movies, but I was prepared that they will do it. Other than that it's rather good Wonder Woman costume.

WB panel just ended and I'm disappointed that they didn't announce any new film. After The Rock's teasing about his future role, I was expecting at least Captain Marvel or rather Shazam movie.

In the new DC movie universe, you're not allowed to have color; their current mission statement is to suck as much of the joy out of the movies and their flagship characters as they possibly can, and color is a part of that.

Also, Green Lantern's costume had color. I'm sure that in the mind of an executive, that was clearly why the movie failed. Best to avoid color from now on.

As for the heels... I'm sure she isn't the first incarnation of the character to wear them, but since they're discreetly integrated into the sole of the boot, rather than a glaring, separate (which would be discretely, lol), stiletto, my guess is that they're mostly there to give the 5'9" Gadot some extra height, especially while sharing a screen with a 6'1" Superman and a 6'4" (minus the ears) Batman. Heels are the easiest way to achieve that height, without resorting to a bunch of camera tricks, or constantly standing her on a stool with her feet out of frame. :p

She's not short, for a woman, by any stretch of the imagination, but lending her a slightly more 'heroic' stature couldn't hurt.

In summary, if you're going to wear a Wonder Woman costume, you're probably going to have to pick a wedge.

And wedges date back to ancient Greece, so...
