As for the heels, I imagine it's to give her the perception of equal height with Superman/Batman.

 

BvsS flinched. GOTG finally scared them from using Marvel`s yearly movie date.

They are moving it to March.

We get BvS a couple of month's earlier, while CA3 has X-Men following up in a month to cannibalize it's long-term audience. Sounds to me that WB made the right choice.

Zack Snyder just tweeted out what Aquaman could look like in the DCCU.

 

Whatever else might go wrong with the DCCU, having Jason Momoa play Aquaman will go a long way towards finally getting the broader public to acknowledge Aquaman as a badass instead of the old "My power is that I can swim and talk to fishes" Aquaman.

There can't be any good reasons. I have no idea who Ezra Miller is beyond an obligatory wiki glance, but I already don't like him because Grant Gustin should be The Flash until further notice.
