Anyone bored enough to start going through the list of crap fics and finding reasons to report them too?

 

Yeah, I noticed that those two fics were eerily similiar a long time ago, but I never really thought to look or check anything. I reported his ass now, though.

It won't actually help outside this site but if the old ban stick of doom actually extends out of DLP then when all the whining authors who got their shit banned come on here looking for a fight they get to see just who is against them on this forum. Hopefully, everybody.

If they still deal with plagiarism in the same manner as they dealt with Cassandra Claire's Draco Dormiens Series, then they spend the next week (or whatever amount of time it is) waiting for each admin or however number of admins required to take a look at it and pass judgment.

I think the numerous reports ought to bring it to their attention fairly quickly. Then they delete either the story or the account. I'd be much more amused if it was the account, especially if he's plagiarized another member of these forums.

It sucks to be plagiarized, even if your story sucks a cock. I care because I don't believe plagiarists should enjoy a fanbase if their work is copied nearly word for word from someone else's.

Since he plagiarized you, his work is virtually your work, which means that his fanbase should be your fanbase. Ow. He stole a lot of fans from you. Even if it is only one story, it was immensely popular, judging by the amount of reviews he got.

I know of Yahoo groups who staged massive reporting efforts for that fic- there's no way the admins at ff.net haven't noticed. My guess- Tara's an admin. That would explain so many things.

 

So, I think we should really try and start getting some of these bastards who actually deserved to be banned, taken off FF.net.
