This fic no longer exists except in the DLP archives, and what's there is three short chapters amounting to less than 10k words.

The premise is that a 20-year-old Harry, victorious but having lost all of his friends, decides to step through the veil and end it all. Instead of dying, he finds himself in an alternate universe.

He's confused about why Dumbledore, Shack, Hermione, etc., are alive, and Dumbledore explains the theory of AUs to him. It takes him an absurdly long time to comprehend the idea. It's revealed at the end of chapter three that the Potters are alive in this universe, and that they have a daughter named Holly.

And that's it. The story never reached anything approaching a plot before it was abandoned.
