    But I have actually been considering getting the Deathly Hallows sign tattooed on my hand for a while now.

    The best thing about it is if I regret it later on (unlikely but it is permanent) I can just say it's a personal variation on the all-seeing eye.

    I know a thirty-four year old guy who got a matching tattoo with his fourteen year old son- it was the symbol of the Deathly Hallows; he signed a permission slip or something for his kid to get one with him. Let's just say his wife was not impressed.

    Getting HP tattoos is quite common among some breeds of fans.

    The Dark Mark is alright as well; I compare both to those generation of adults who would get Tweety Bird or Speedy Gonzales tattooed on themselves - or even the Tri-force from Zelda.

    JKR's signature is just weird, since almost everyone you meet won't know WTF it is without an explanation, and it's not the kind of thing that can't just stand alone as a cool design.
