Other than that and a few others this is an Ok story.

The new chapter was disgusting really, how many times is harry going to be Gryffindor's heir, Slytherin's heir, and the heir's of a million other families, becoming super rich in the process also gaining some "rare" magical ability. This story started off so well and chapter 11 was so good but since about the fifth or sixth chapter i feel the story has went steadily down hill..

 

Hmmm I never been into the story hoping for becoming better in the future. In chapter 11 I saw hope but the new one ruined it all. Mehhh

 

heh, I'm not going to complain at this point. I'm desperate, and the story isn't all that bad. The problem with this latest chapter was Dumbledore silencing Ron, and then have him speak two paragraphs later. I pointed it out to the author, so they might have fixed it already (at least the review reply seemed like the author was going to, anyway)

I still like it. So it has cliches, at least it's readable and has some interesting ideas. *shrugs* I'll take what I can get.

Yeh i got agree, for lack of better talent out there we all need something to amuse us. Killginny we all know that the clinche has been used heaps but it's good to see them try and change it up abit...well ok maybe it's moderately annoying as well, but would funnily stupid be an aproprate term also?

 

Quite good, one of the better dark but lightsided storys i have picked up. One thing bothering me though, i kept on thinking i had read it before up untill he got the grim as a familiar, seemed really familiar, anyone know what i am talking about?

 

im really enjoying it, liking hte idea of the grims and the Black Alley

 

mm about the Alley thing, im fairly sure that the Alleys are akin to the medieval times. The alleys were like a wizarding fiefdom or something.


Well whatever i am not going to complain, its beter the most stories out there.

I liked it. I don't much like Harry faking his own death; seems a little like hiding to me, but I'd probably do it to. Wish updates would be quicker.

 

Well, I think the point would be to hide, wouldn't it? Allows him to prepare.

Anyway, DarthBill, are you the author on FicWad who writes the story "The Power"? (Just curious)

 

I know, but I still don't like the idea of Harry hiding. His knew idenity is bound to attract attention sooner or later though, so it's alright. And yes, I am writting The Power.

 

Uhm, didn't like the way Harry kept hiding things, it was a bit annoying.
A few clichés, but overall a good read.

 

Absolutly a excelent story read this a while ago, well at least I think I did. On second thought maybe this is not such a great story. Well in any case I hope it is a good story

While I do like the story so do I think Hedwig should have stayed dead and he should have kept his name, maybe instead of Harry James Potter so could he be Harold Seraph James Black or something like that.

 

I really like this story. He should have kept his name though. The new chapter is up now and it's ok.

 

I really have to resist banging my head into my keyboard after reading the sheer size of "Black Alley" (and only to save my keyboard from being damaged.. and my head) How many mansion sized places?! Arg!!

But I still, guiltily, enjoyed reading the chapter.

 

I thibk he is taking the "Black" things too far. All the grims, mansions and stuff okay but get on with the story.

 

I don't much like that he intends to do the muggle work out thing. It has been used in every independent!Harry fic I've read. Meh. Still like the story though.
