Worth a try... I'm stacked with books for at least 2 months either way. Besides www.gutenberg.org doesn't count, right?

I'm down, I just got into DCUO and with the extra points special going on today I'm gonna load up on points and be solid for when the new DLC happens.

I'm gonna hate myself for missing the Steam specials but this needs to happen. Someone throw this up on the boards of all the popular games coming out soon like ME3. A lot of people are on the fence for that game and this might grab some numbers from companies of a big game like ME3.

Anyone playing DCUO there's a sale on station points going on today so grab them now before the black march starts.

Hm... This could be quite difficult for me.

I have a weekly comics pull list that comes up to 9 comics a month + a weekly schedule of 15 followed shows. Movies and music generally aren't major demands for me, so I can easily manage on that front. Haven't seen much in the way of incoming games that I have to get, so no worries in that area...

3/5 isn't that good in this situation... :sherlock:

It's barely 30 hours in and I already am tempted :/

This is going to be more difficult than No-Fap February.

I'm stopping because I don't want people to connect a rise in piracy to a drop in media buys concretely and lets them dismiss anything the protest says as a bunch of thieves trying to get free shit.

So you're the hypocritical internet activist who claims to support the cause but in actuality couldn't be fucked to actually do something for it's benefit? It's people like you who let this shit happen, because everyone knows to just wither the storm of internet outrage. Douches like you will never show the slightest hint of a backbone and sacrifice so your opinion is worth fuck-all in the long run and you just make the problem worse.

So yeah, you are a faggot.

So all in all, in a bit late but in. It might be hard but I have enough media to float me through. And when I'm done I'll have a huge backlog of shows to watch :awesome.

Electronic Arts, Mass Effect's publisher, was neutral to SOPA/PIPA. It doesn't really make much sense to me to boycott companies that didn't support those proposals.

However it is a member of the ESA which did support SOPA/PIPA, so picking up the pre-order is indirectly telling EA that we condone their membership in ESA and it stances.

Well, fuck. I completely failed. I randomly decided to buy Audiosurf & download a ton of music for it. It was hours later that I realized I had violated the terms. :| I honestly don't know how I forgot. Anyway, it's not like we have some big official list, but I will be starting this up again, and I will NOT forget.

I haven't failed yet, and I even noticed a sudden surge of free time, because I stopped following ~50 tv-shows. It is difficult though, fortunately I still have a buffer of 3 episodes from late february I can watch in need.

I'm doing this specifically because of what EA has apparently done to Mass Effect 3, and only because dynamic entry groin shots are apparently illegal under US assault and battery laws.

They're part of a group that supported SOPA and the ESA only dropped support for it when they got called out on it. Their defense of the ESA's stance was that some were for and some were against when those numbers when asked for an answer were 29 for vs 42 against. Which begs the question if there wasn't a clear majority why the ESA didn't just take a neutral stance as well until one was found.

Taking no stance on such a heinous bill is cowardice at best and an attempt to dodge bad publicity at worst.

Eh? I don't do Hulu, but no Youtube viewing as well? Well, fuck. I browsed about thirty videos just a few days ago trying to nail one particular song I'd heard on the radio, and I usually play some vids for a good mood setter while writing besides.

No, This was much easier than No-Fap. I personally didn't find this overly difficult, all it did was slightly help my grades in school.

And I've been waiting for Game of Thrones to come out with another season, so I've been able to keep my promise..

But it would have been very, very hard to make it through otherwise.
