Decent issue; Gin continues to be pretty cool, and Aizen continues to make everyone fighting him look like fools.

Who would have ever thought that this issue would consist of Aizen grandstanding and Gin running his mouth?

I mean, just when you think that there can't possibly be more of the same, Kubo surprises us again!

Me also. Seriously, I started reading Bleach again in February, hoping that since there is only Aizen and Gin left, we will maybe see King of Shinigami, Royal Guard, Vastro Lords or resolve some mysteries sometime soon. How wrong I was. You know what we need? Something like "Turn Back The Pendulum" to happen. In eleven chapters Kubo give us more action, surprises and revelations than in last 50 or more.

 

I remember someone somewhere stating that a TBTP-like arc focusing on Isshin follow the Fake Karakura arc. Would make sense, given that Isshin has been revealed fully as a Shinigami now.

Something brought up on the Bleach forums - I thought that Shinigami powers were supposed to be unique? Why did Isshin use Getsuga Tenshou - I thought it was a Zanpakuto-based power?

 

Is there anything Aizen did not do?

On a related note, I do have to agree with Sin Saiori that it was rather amusing how every time Aizen started his "your kung-fu is weak" speech he gets cut off by another attack.

 

Wow, who did expect that Aizen would survive all these consecutive attacks? Full with tension this one...

Well, if fanfics had it their way, there would be no one who hasn't dicked Yoruichi.

Don't even get me started on how silly he looks right now. Some sort of mutant cross between a hollow, shinigami, and a dildo...

And it could just be me thinking this, but I'm pretty sure Einstein would call the last 5 chapters the definition of insanity.

Ya know, doin the same thing over again and expecting different results...

 

This seems to be the theme in the last I-don't-know-how-many chapters. It doesn't help that Aizen keeps taking credit for everything that happened right down to Ichigo farting after a large dinner...

Pretty ridiculous stuff. I want Aizen out of his 'larvae phase' so all the good guys go bankai already.

 

Silly Clerith, once Aizen is out of the 'larvae phase' he'll leave saying that none of them are worth his time and then they'll be another training arc and then, since it's bleach, another rescue arc.

Finally, we seem to be getting to the King's Key plot line.

 

And here I was starting to like Aizen's appearance. This, though. This is just fucking hilarious. Great work, really.
