Yes about 451, comparing today chapter to some of the last of this "filler" - it's remarkable, fact is that to normal previously chapter before losing powers it's all big pile of shit. I am hoping for improvement now.

 

Yes, usual Bleach predictable idiocy aside, are they really calling the final fullbring 'Xecution'? That has got to be the stupidest name for a powerup ever conceived. I saw that and facepalmed. Terrible writing there, Kubo.

 

Xcution is the group of Fullbring users that Ginjo, Giriko, Rurika, Yukio, and Chad belong to, if you recall.

 

The Soul Society arc was halfway decent, but you're right. Most of Bleach (especially recent Bleach) is cliched and/or bad.

To be honest, I don't get why Kubo gave Riruka and Yukio similar powers. Okay, sue me: I skipped a lot of the dialogue/expotext, but don't the two of them involve some of sort dimensional power? "I transport you into another contained universe" shtick?

It seems a bit redundant to me.

Kubo needs to include more Yoruichi and Urahara. And Isshin. Those three would move the plot forward.

 

This arc (or something equivalent) should have occured before Renji and Byakuya were introduced, IMO. Ichigo's group of mutant!humans vs Xecution.

 

You're right on that one - it seems a little ridiculous that a random group with as much power as these guys are showing up now, after the reality-altering horror has been subdued. However, much in the same vein as the anime filler characters they basically are, they stylistically don't fit in with the rest of the series anyway. Their lack of connection to the afterlife makes them kinda irrelevant plot wise (until now, obviously, where they have been shoved in as a bad excuse for another powerup).

Also, thanks for clearing that up Lutris, but the point still stands that Xcution is still a goddamn retarded name.

 

The point still stands that Ichigo should be wiping the floor with these smug bastards. While they were cowering in their little headquarters, Ichigo curb stomped an aspiring God. Then this Aizen-wannabe comes in with his sword that doesn't cut, and I just want him to fuck off already. Christ, call in some random lieutenant and have them clean him up. It's not like they'd be able to stand against them.

Dammit, the second great conflict of Bleach should have been an escalation, not a return to the schoolyard.

Hm, I'm starting to warm up to Yukio and Riruka. They both seem interesting without grating on my nerves. I still don't understand why Kubo gave him similar rein powers. Couldn't he differentiate them a bit more?

The ending was good; a nice cliffhanger, to say the least.
